You can see how square it is as soon as you start lapping. Hit it a little and look at the shiny spots, if it is even all the way around then its square.

Yes, after several hundred rounds they are pounded almost smooth.

Public Access Outer Reality DIPA brewed and canned by Dorchester Brewing Co. Boston Mass. For Public Access Liquids. Aroma is not quite ripe grapefruit and a hint of banana. Flavor is bigtime grapefruit, some pith, and a holiday spice note, this goes front to back, start to finish. Has that creamy, oily mouthfeel and lots of those white floaters. Not bad by any means but not outstanding either.

Yes, you will find many posts on the subject here, @98Z5V has explained it in depth many times. Aero may have fixed it by now but when I used one on a build the depth was off, let the carrier hit the threads in front of the tube on the lower and several others have had the same issue. Two quarters in the tube solved it for me but I run an adjustable gas block to "fix" the buffer weight issue.

Good chance you'll have to add 50 cents to the price and the weight of two quarters..........and then the buffer will be on the light side.

Maybe if we just agreed to some sort of licence or registration for semi-autos they would leave us alone? You know become part of the solution instead of being the problem.

Sweet nothings Pastry Stout from Octopi Brewing in Waunakee Wisconsin, coming to me via my Wisconsin Brother. My nose said Grandmas homemade Prune Danish, picks up a healthy cinnamon note as it warms. Taste is very reminiscent of those same Danish. There is raisin and cinnamon as well as that sweet pastry flavor. As it warms a mild smoky flavor picks up letting you know it is a stout, also gives hints of walnut and a boozy hint but not as strong as you would think for the 10% ABV. A desert beer for sure, ambrosia at it's finest, many thanks Brother for an outstanding taste experience!

Purchase a special Dillo opener from LaRue and have a chance to win a straight bow trigger or even a 308 pistol. https://www.larue.com/products/not-one-more-inch/?utm_source=LaRue+Newsletter&utm_campaign=e3c0881801-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2019_12_13_03_50&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_eca3a85af8-e3c0881801-309743989&mc_cid=e3c0881801&mc_eid=1821b69c35 The One Thousandth Challenge. Team, I made up 1,000 of our Texas custom-engraved Dillos to raise $50,000 for Stephen Stamboulieh (aka “Nolo Contendre” on ar15.com) to defray the 2nd Amendment legal battles he’s in ... for plane tickets, hotel rooms, UBER fees, etc. I've watched Stephen carrying all of our 2A waters for years and it's time to pass the plate and throw a fifty in. 100% of your $50 bucks goes to Stephen's law firm. You know all your money will land straight into the fight. LaRue's contribution is making the custom dillos, anodizing them, engraving them, packaging them and eating the shipping. Since you’re reading this … you know I rarely step off the plate to do fundraisers, so when I do, I try to make it worth your while. For each Run of 1,000, I will be drawing one name from each run ... for a very nice LaRue Siete 308 pistol. Follow me on Instagram to watch the Siete’s progress. From all of us at here at LaRue Tactical ... Not One More Inch! ML

Consider using the Armalite 6-Position Receiver Extension Kit, comes with everything you need and is a known to be reliable system, also a good price. It is the equivalent to the A5 system you mention above using an H3 buffer. They show out of stock right now but if you call them they may be able to fix you up. EDIT; I know nothing of the UBR so compatibility with it would need to be verified. https://www.armalite.com/product/ar10rekit01-6-position-receiver-extension-kit/

AAC also makes a shield for the 51T muzzle devices. They are expensive but work good.

Don't Fear The Blender #2, Fruit Smoothie with strawberry and raspberry puree IPA from Clown Shoes in Massachusetts. Hardly any aroma at all, light fruity smell and a hint of bread. Has an unripe tart strawberry and raspberry flavors from front to back. Some light malty flavor and just a hint of hoppy citrus but the tart dominates. Not something I will buy again.

They might not crush evenly or be made with tight enough tolerances to keep good suppressor alignment. Might be other issues I am not aware of.

From the spec sheet measurements you should be able to get what you need with two washers?
-
@Robocop1051 Add one of these somewhere in your Ruger carbine stock. No rust and lightweight so it could be forgotten there until needed.
-
I used a JP jam nut on one of my rifles with no issues. There is also the Accu-washer system, I don't have the measurements but betting they will work. https://precisionarmament.com/product/accu-washer-system/

Exactly what happens when you give government a secret and unlimited budget.
-
Cool, I was curious if you had to plug the original port. Might have to try that on one of mine.

Look forward to hearing if this block will adjust far enough on the bleed off side to not lock back. Never got it to work on my 16 in. rifle gas.
-
Very nice Got any details on that gas system for us?

Tinkerers Series Vol. 3 NEIPA with cryo hops from The Brewing Project of Eau Claire WI. Aroma has a fresh citrus aroma and a faint bready smell. The flavor is outstanding, ripe mandarin orange comes to mind up front with a melon flavor right behind. There is a malty backbone there with a mild hop bitter, maybe a hint of dank pine. The flavor is a moving target in the mouth, changes steadily, complex and very well balanced. The flavor is so thick you almost want to chew it, has a very pleasant mouth feel, medium thick with that oily hop feel left behind. Another outstanding beer from my Wisconsin Brother.

There are several manufacturers touting this loose fit as a solution for overgassing.
