NvU Vs. The Haze from Pipeworks Brewing Company of Chicago courtesy of my Wisconsin Brother. Aroma is a tropical fruit bomb, lots of ripe citrus notes. This is one of the best if not the best DIPA's I have had hands down, blew me away with the first sip! Tropical fruit flavors, mango, pineapple, lots of citrusy notes but on the ripe side up front. There is a mild caramel or toffe note from the malt underneath but the hops dominate and in a very good way. It finishes with a mild bitter like orange pith. Mouthfeel is great, so much flavor it tastes thick but feels smooth and light, goes down way to fast! Get some, get a bunch, you'll thank me, and of course a big thanks to my Brother for turning me on to this great brew!

Tried pocket carry with this for a couple weeks, no go. Nice and small but that little magnet holds on to your keys and such then the knife gets drug off the "sheath" and hits the floor. In to the tin and under the seat it goes, can't stand things around my neck or I would try that.

F1 is the Swiss cheese of the AR world, they cut out every last bit they dare. Apparently they are trying to cut more weight with deeper feed ramps. I was going to suggest a few barrel nut shims between the extension and the receiver but that’s a pretty deep stack of shims to flush that out.

Not really solved, just shot it enough that I got the feel for it. Betting I could tighten the group up a good bit with that setup though

From my Wisconsin Brother, Bonfire Feels American Ale from Phase Three Brewing Co. Brewed and canned by Lake Zurich Brewing Co in Illinois. The look surprised me, much darker than I am used to seeing an ale, guess it isn't a pale ale. Aroma is real malty with just a hint of hops. Taste is way complex! Has some bready malt flavors with what I can only describe as a hint of sweet and sour. There is some smoky flavor that reminds me of a stout but it fades in and out, not super smoky just a hint. There is also some hops in there, more on the piney dank side of the hop spectrum. Flavors abound in this brew, so many notes it must take an orchestra to make it.

Lots of variables but it should work fine without an adjustable block. There are many ways to "tune" these, buffer weight, spring rate, gas port size, weight of the BCG, etc. Most of the time manufactures have the gas length and port size set up to run both buffer systems. Sometimes they miss short requiring you to open the gas port up or lighten components. Most of the time they run on the high side of the gas required to get good reliability, these are the ones that can utilize an adjustable block if you want to play with it. Turning down the gas will lessen recoil but chances an increase in the failure rate. It's all about balance and carbine and rifle buffer systems in normal configuration have about equal weight in that balance so are interchangeable for function purpose allowing you to make that choice based on Ergonomics required. Many will disagree but after years of watching this forum and the problems that arrive here it seems clear the lighter, shorter DPMS carbine buffer system is too light, they account for a large number of the issues, at least swapping them for the Armalite carbine buffer system fixes them.

You will be fine with the rifle length stock and buffer set up.

Biggest issue would be the barrel nut threads, pretty sure the Noveske is the Armalite thread pattern. As far as barrel and BCG go as long as you keep them both ion the same pattern you can change up receivers. At least one member here, @98Z5V, used an Armalite barrel and BCG in a DPMS pattern receiver. I'm a huge Armalite fan but find myself building with DPMS platforms all the time, selections in the Armalite pattern are getting fewer and fewer all the time.

Don't do it, you can get an Aero M5 receiver set for under $250 on most weeks, blem sets even cheaper. Why chance not finding a good fit when a matched set can be had. I would offer to swap the Noveske for an Aero upper if you are interested.
