  1. My thoughts exactly, they will go down some but WE BE FUCKED!
  2. At first mine had a hard time closing the last 3/8"-1/2" when chambering a round, it closed fine without a round in it. It turned out to be a rough chamber and I believe a little on the tight side because it got better with polishing the chamber but completely went away when I switched to small base dies.
  3. Try polishing your balls! It makes sizing much smoother and requires less effort, you can even hear a difference, that scraping sound goes away, just use very fine paper you don't want to remove any material to speak of.
  4. popcorn and icecream, but making juevos rancheros in the am, and making green chili chicken and corn potato soup for lunch tomorrow, at my dads and grandmothers visiting in Hobbs new mexico while taking a break due to carpal tunnel surgery
  5. I don't know, that sounds odd,I was using the lee paste and it worked well but had to be applied to every case just before sizing and made a mess of the die. I just lay the cases down on a paper towel with the open end facing me, spray them including inside the neck, wait for it to dry, roll them a half turn and repeat, no mess and much less effort is required than with the lee or rcbs stuff. Maybe you didn't get any in the neck and they got stuck on the expander ball? I also polish my balls (expander balls, ha ha I made a funny) with 1000 grit paper to make things go easier.
  6. I have also had great success with Hornady one shot, excellent product and excellent results, not a dry lube but it is aerosol and very light no mess.
  7. I did see that wideners has new primed 7.62 lake city brass in stock as well as once fired lake city 12 and 13 in stock.
  8. At my LGS he is up some on the price of 22 but not nuts like yall describe, I bought centurion 22 500ct high velocity for $23 where he has it on the shelf for $37, I think Eley sport was also $37, Aguila was $49 and didn't even look at the CCI. These crazy prices are being created on the retail end, his cost has gone up very little.
  9. I have never bought ANYTHING from CTD and never will!
  10. I guess that is why I have never heard of it, we don't have to do any od that silly poop here! Thank's for the information though.
  11. Pinned? What do you mean by pinned and why is it done? I am not familiar with the acs.
  12. If it were me I would be handloading but a freind needs some for hog hunting, not sure what grain he didn't say, I will find ou,t if anyone see's any let me know. Thank's.
  13. ok, thank's. I may try a backorder at brownells
  14. Has anyone seen any in stock anywhere? I have been looking but have found none. Thank's in advance.
  15. I have been told by someone who buys and sells large quantities of ammo and sells retail that all of the overpricing is being done on the retail end, he says that prices have risen but only a couple of bucks per brick. His retail prices are up but nowhere near what I read about from other areas, I don't blame him either he is just making it while he can without bending us over, when this is over he will go back to making 10%.
  16. Thank's alot! I was weak, a $30 order turned into a $170 order! You people are a bad influence.
  17. Stories like this are the reason I am proud to be born and raised in Texas, I just wish it wasn't so damned hot!
  18. wal mart here has nothing but the local gun pusher has has aguila for 49 and eley sport for 37 and centurion unplated high velicity for 35 has all 3 most of the time.
  19. This is mostly a German community so here they are all about the sausage, we take our deer meat every year all but the steaks and backstraps and make dry suasage, jerky, and summer sausage the last batch of summer sausage for 3 of us was 275lbs, I know alot of people that hog hunt and work on alot of hunters atv's and utv's but have not been able to go yet. My wife wants to go REAL bad, I am trying to find someone thats not too nuts for her to go with, I know 2 guys that run them out with dogs and if they get close enough with the ranger the one that's not driving dives out and tackles the hog then kills it with his knife! Some of the guy's around here still cook them whole in the ground but have not been able to experience that yet either. Boy do we have the BBQ, people here swear that the cancer rate is high because we consume so much charred flesh!
  20. 15? Not bad but we are going to have to work on that.
  21. Damn I didn't think they took my picture! I am kind of flattered though they used quite a large black spot to cover it up!
  22. One of my favorites, don't want to offend anyone this is only a quote but what about "Hey Jules do you see a sign on my lawn that says dead ni--er storage?". I don't know what category that movie falls under but I consider it a comedy, I laugh my ass off every time I watch it!
  23. Oh man, I shot Marvin in the face!
  24. Damn man! It can't get much better than that!
