  1. Will those eat steel cased 9mm? I've got about a 1000 rounds of that stuff that I've been sitting on wondering how I was gonna get rid of it.
  2. Welcome from Maryland. The trigger pins should come with your lower parts kit (LPK).
  3. Welcome aboard.
  4. You know, hot food isn't just from out West ya know?
  5. This kills me to hear this. Especially being "The Armalite Pusher" around here. But considering a lot of the stuff I've heard ever since the company was sold....I'm not really surprised anymore. I'm glad that I built all of my 10B's long before the company sold off. Hopefully, in time, they'll get their $hit together.
  6. Good lookin unit there Shepp.
  7. Welcome from Maryland. A budget build huh? You'll learn.
  8. Don't you love it when a plan comes together?
  9. Hmmm. That seems to be a common problem around here.
  10. I haven't heard anybody say a good bottle yet.
  11. As in.......Reper? LWRCI? Give....give....man. Didn't know you had one of those.
  12. ^^^^ THAT! Right there is one of the most valuable pieces of intel that someone can use.
  13. I would try an Armalite bolt catch. I'm not saying that because I'm "The Armalite Pusher". Just because there's been other guys that have built "DPMS" platform rifles that the Armalite catch has worked out in place of the standard 308AR LPK part.
  14. I agree with you on that one Larry. I'd donate to help out also. But I still wouldn't wanna be that guy.
  15. True, it may be more of an opinion determined by some paper pushing A$shole. But....... 1 - Who would want to be the one to break the ice going up against the ATF challenging it? 2 - If it went sideways and you lose the battle, is it really worth being deemed a felon and having them confiscate the rest of your weapons? Just for laying a pistol brace against your shoulder? Not this guy. I've already got too many $'s tied up in NFA stuff as it is, besides all of the other stuff that I have. Besides, that's why I have SBR's to begin with. I'm not trying to argue it. But once you dip into the NFA end of the pool, you tend to be a little more broader thinking, and a little more defensive. At least I do. Mainly....because of the $hitheads.
  16. Welcome aboard from Maryland.
  17. Nope. I think that has the MRAD beat hands down.
  18. Sadly, my beloved Armalite isn't the same company as they were under Mark Westrom. He was integral in helping bringing them back to life, when he bought the company back in 96.
  19. That sounds like a kickass build there Beach. And of course, we all know that you wouldn't really shoulder that thing for a good cheek weld, since that would make it an illegal SBR instead of a pistol. Dumb-ass NFA laws.
  20. A man after my own heart.
  21. The Essence of Robo
  22. See? I knew we got along for a reason.
  23. Well hell. I live in the landing pattern of Andrews AFB (now Joint base Andrews). I hear everything from Air Force 1, down to the puddle jumpers shuttling generals around. There's nothing like when they're doing touch and go maneuvers. You'll here things like C-5's screaming by about every 20/30 minutes (nothing like the sounds as they trim those engines prepping for landing), to F-18's doing "vertical" (like the old F-14's used to) climbs. Now, those fukers reverberate for miles, as they climb and accelerate away from you. Especially if you happen to be center axis compared to their exhaust thrust. Now, of course, being Andrews.....you'll get this at all times. So it may 0300.......or it may be 1500. Doesn't matter. Ha....no wonder my ex old lady thought that I could sleep through a nuclear blast.
  24. That's awesome Mack.
