  1. I'm in for watching some trees fall. :ecs: <thumbsup>
  2. Damn that blows. The brother will be deeply missed.
  3. You and I may become close friends..........my friend. <laughs>
  4. Damn Rene. Still waiting (as if I'm one to talk)? You better get that damn thing soon. Otherwise.......I'm gonna have to come out there and start drinking with you......and we won't stop until it finally comes in. :happydrunks:
  5. Damn I'm glad to see you back here brother. It's about damn time you surfaced.
  6. I guess I'm a boring guy. I find what I like and just keep using it (for the most part). I mostly use AAC brakes and comps. But that's more for the attachment points than the overall brake/comp performance. It's a balanced mix....in my head at least. Now, granted, I have branched out with a couple different rifles over time. But that was usually for a specific purpose/objective. I feel that this whole subject is more of a matter of opinion and preference than anything else. But, with that being said, that's why all of us have such a diverse list of rifles.
  7. DAMN good to see you back here Pat.
  8. And just think......all of the morons that that we meet/deal with, were the fastest sperm.
  9. Welcome from MD.
  10. Welcome aboard from MD. The other side of the Potomac River.
  11. Yep. I've got a bunch of their slings. Some of the best out there in my opinion (for what that's worth). I've had one of their chest rigs for years. Very sturdy and well made stuff overall. I use one of their packs daily for my work laptop (and all the crap that goes with it). I'm a big fan of their equipment. All USA made too. The only thing, is that you can't be in a hurry when you order anything from them. It usually takes a couple of weeks (minimum), because they literally custom build and stich everything. Like I said, High quality equipment in my book.

    Welcome from MD
  13. This coming from a California guy? Paahhleeese!
  14. BigP. Just be sure that it's the "match" trigger. Cause all of the traditional Armalite 10B's come with the standard 2-stage combat trigger. If you had a 10T, or a 10 SASS.....it has the match trigger. Otherwise, it probably has the standard 2-stage. Don't get me wrong. I like that trigger, and run that one in a couple of the 10's that I have. Just pointing that out for you brother.
  15. Let me know if you need something Sisco. I "might" have a couple of the field replacement kits if you need them. <laughs>
  16. I ain't even tryin to compete with you sheep.
  17. In Maryland........yes Maryland. When I was younger (much younger these days). Guys could walk with shotguns "broken open" and nobody would even pay attention to them. Usually in the somewhat wooden areas. But even down a suburban street that I grew up on. Guys could even walk around with long rifles (shouldered....or muzzle down) and nobody would pay attention. With the long rifles.....people just figured that we were just a bunch of kids playing around....or properly supervised (meant we had our ass beat into knowing better)....and would go on their way. PG County police (if we happened to walk by) would usually talk to us about the type of rifle that we were "practicing" with. Some of those guys were the coolest (as local LE should be) guys that you could ever want to deal with. No scaring. No intimidating. No threatening. Just cool ordinary guys. Now, keep in mind, that this was the 70's and early 80's that I'm talking about. And if you tried to do this today in PG County of the "free state".......you'd have at least a dozen county cruisers surround you within moments. Times change. And not always for the better (as we all know). But I'll never forget some of the friendly faces (of LEO's) that I saw as a young man (read as kid) when I had a rifle on my shoulder. And they were simply talking to me...and not feeling threatened.....cause I was just a young, stupid kid. Just learning about the power that I held in my hands. And those guys were always friendly. So keep in mind that my fuked up state at one time was more than kinda friendly. Even if it has become one of the more socialist state's in the union. Sorry to say. Those times are long gone.
  18. Keep on getting up Sisco! Glad to hear it. See? That's why I left you off of our last OP. I knew that you were healing up. Back at Medvac_01. Be well brother............or we'll make you be well. <laughs>
  19. Alot of that WW2 German equipment is nice stuff.........compared to stuff pumped out today. German engineering huh?
  20. Sheeeeit! Hi temps and Hi humidity is situation normal here in and around the DC area. Today, I worked on the control system in a chiller plant with almost no air movement. You're fukin WET by the end of the day. And.........IT SUCKS ASS! Don't let anybody tell you otherwise. I hate this fukin place. I just can't give in to those Arizona boys.............for now that is. <lmao>
  21. See? And the love bubbles to the surface after all. :love4: That's why you're one of us Shepp. <lmao>
  22. Amen brother. It seems like most people are of the mind-set that things should be handed to them. And don't even get me started on saying how people are just down right dumb these days. I've said many times, as humans (as a race) get smarter.....the individuals are getting dumber.
  23. Robo back in the 1920's? You only need to watch the first minute or so.
  24. Why do I feel like we're approaching the "800 meter" mark again?
  25. Same here in MD. 4 or less, otherwise a "possible" concealed illegal weapon. Though you'd have to be pretty much a dirtbag to be pressed on it. But, that being said.....and this being a borderline socialist/communist state these days. One never knows. Well.......more than borderline at times. <laughs>
