Okay. First of all, thanks for the "nod" from all of you guys. Second, a little update for ya. They say that she's going to be ok. They're still holding her to observe. They think that they'll let her out tomorrow maybe. Apparently she had fluid built up around her heart and lungs. I'm no doctor, so don't even bother asking. The things they were telling me were pretty much going in one ear and out the other (mainly because of my stupidity). One of these days I'll learn to write some of this $hit down as they're spewing it at me. Doctor talk is almost as bad, if not worse, than legalese. So, we'll see how things work out. On another note. I was talking with Tom last night, since he was the one that I was coordinating with originally, and he said that he'll probably be offline for a couple more days. Just to let you all know. He says that I can't just threaten to come out there and not follow through. Though I'm getting a pass this time, he says that now I owe all of you guys a visit. Fair enough in my book. So maybe sometime for some kinda spring fling will be in order. "Before it gets too Fukin hot", as Tom said. I always pay my bills. So if I owe a trip......I owe a trip. But damn........are you guys gonna be disappointed when you finally see me. <laughs> Once again. I appreciate all of the kind thoughts from all my brothers around here. It means a lot to me.

Just found out. I'll probably be backing out. My mother (she's 74) isn't doing so well all of a sudden. I hate to say I'm in, and then that I'm out. But I have to keep things fluid on my end. I'll keep you guys posted on my status. Fuking Christmas. Just great. Can I get a fukin break for Christ's sake? The world hates me. And that's why I hate it back. I'll keep you guys in the loop.

And that's exactly why I built an ultra-short "standard" 5.56 SBR (fun gun/entry weapon). By this time, ammo has come back down to sane levels (compared to where it was). So there's no reason (for me at least) to play around with oddball (so to speak) calibers. **-Keep in mind that this was an earlier pic, and since have added BUIS along with it's own dedicated lower.

Brother....that's why these things are "modular". So we can replace parts that wear out. That being said, You're like me........an Armalite guy. That means your stuff will never wear out <laughs>. The competition will start complaining shortly. <lmao> They're just jealous. :hornet:

I was wondering when the "cut and re-weld" would resurface. That was some FUGLY work..........if we're thinking about the same thing that is.

Set screw (DPMS/SR-25)? Or pin type (Armalite)? Either way, it's pretty straight forward. We're here to help my man.

Welcome to the AR-10 world Deltamech. Sounds like you've done good. More than likely, those "M14" mags are the Armalite steel mags. The "newer" Armalite proprietary mag design. Those mags ROCK! At least with all of my 10's. Now, if those are the DPMS style steel mags, or god forgive if they're the RRA (FAL type)..............then the 3 or 4 of us Armalite guys will have to make fun of you (only cause there's so few of us at this point). <laughs> Welcome aboard.........open your wallet now.

Oh don't get me wrong. I've got a Taurus M9 clone (PT-92). And I like it too. I've always liked the "look" of them. I was just commenting on the stopping power. But, that in itself, is another thread.
