  1. Outstanding! That's a fine young man there.
  2. That's just wrong dude. <laughs>
  3. That doesn't make sense. Why would the nimrod park in front of your shop? To leave room for the masses flocking towards his? <laughs>
  4. Welcome aboard fla762.
  5. I stand corrected. Why didn't I think of that? <laughs>
  6. I'm over here (old Dice Clay joke)! I've never personally handled (read as fondled) any of the A model rifles. All of mine are the traditional B models. So I can't honestly say how they run.......but they're still Armalites. That being said. I don't think that I've ever seen any of the lowers available separately. Hell, the B lowers were hard enough to find up until about 8 months ago (or so). I'm with Tom on this one. Go for a complete rifle, and modify accordingly. There are some pretty good deals out there (the 12 to 13 range) that I see on these rifles periodically.
  7. Well, having a .44 Desert Eagle. I couldn't imagine how you could put any kind of water jacket around the barrel to make it effective. Plus....the damn thing is heavy enough without adding any kind of water weight to it.
  8. Yeah....me too. I can't buy one unless it's pre-assembled as a heavy barrel version (for all of the sense that makes). No stripped 15 lowers in my state anymore.
  9. When you hand cycle it? Are you pulling back and letting it "slap" into battery? Just wondering. I'm scratching my head now.
  10. Negative there Edge. I use carbine springs and buffers (heavybuffers) in my UBR setup. They work fine (granted I'm Armalite, not DPMS). And it comes with the proper extension.
  11. First. Welcome to the forum warthog. 2nd. Did you buy the BCG as a complete unit? 3rd. Some pics would help so all of us could get a look at it. It seems like a lot of DPMS patterned rifles have tight chambers. But that shouldn't stop the action by hand. At least you wouldn't think (things are moving a lot slower). But just to be sure. You're having feeding and ejection problems? We have to start somewhere.
  12. Rob. I've got the 10 rounders that I bought for the mass trip. Say the word, and they're yours (his).
  13. Now you're just setting yourself up for the Asian jokes to come out my brutha. <laughs>
  14. That's funny. Cause here in MD the name Rene is pronounced as bad motherfuker. <laughs>
  15. Works for the rest of us...........................
  16. ^^^^ <lmao>
  17. Uuhhhhh....Dude! There are many different stocks that you can put on these things. The gas system could care less about what kind of stock is on the rifle (or carbine). Magpuls, Ace, B5 (just to throw out a few) can all be fitted to the 308 platform.
  18. I don't remember you telling us that you had that. That is.......unless I was drinking at the time.
  19. In the neck! Nuff said.
  20. Damn, I wish I was closer.
  21. ^^^^ <lmao> <lmao> <lmao>
  22. Definitely a DPMS config. You can tell by the mag. No matter though. It's still an SBR "almost". And I love me an SBR. It's a sickness.
  23. Wow. DC no less? I'm impressed.
  24. ^^^^ Show off
