Yes crush washer. to answer @BrianK, yes I forgot between both shoots, I removed the muzzle device, because I failed to apply rockset, then re installed the same way as I had it before So the can screws onto the muzzle device

I was thinking about shooting my 308 suppressed for deer season while I was out test firing a new build I took it with, a box of barns and a mag full of Winchester white box target ammo because the gun has been previously fired to tune the gas block, and to sight in with the new muzzle device. I fired three banes rounds (supressed) outta it and wasn’t even in the ball park. Switched to the target ammo (after pulling the can off to bore sight) and found the winages was off like 45 clicks….. got it on paper like fist sized group, without the suppressor, put the suppressor back on and it’s shooting far right again like 3-4’. By that point I was out of the target ammo Im so confused! 1 because I shot it when I first got my cans to dial in the adjustable gas block and sight in with the new muzzle device. 2 I took apart the can and the gun, no abnormalities in the can that I can see and the upper isn’t loose or anything. Dpms .308, 18” barrel, banish gold 30 cal suppressor

FINALLY got out to my buddies to shoot this, got it dialed in at 50 yards per the direction. Then went supressed on the pistol range at 10-15 yards I was expecting a miss but she was banging 8” gongs perfectly. And hitting the supressed sub sonic with not ear pro is so awesome!!! The impact is louder that the gun firing!!

I think it’s one of those things that one generation found it easier to go to the store than working in a hot kitchen. All day with their parents and or grandparents. Well now people my age 40’s and alittle younger are seeing the bullshit in our food, along with things like Covid and natural disasters and they’re learning to be more self reliable. with that said my mom canned alittle when I was a kid but no where near the level I do. Did some apple pie filling and more hot dilly beans this weekend

Went to the apple orchard today got a mixed bushel of “second” used about half the bushel to make apple sauce. Tomorrow I think we’re going to do Apple pie filling also trying to make apple cider vinegar. Should be a fun science experiment lol
