Can i rerail this thread! I have and shot the .308 rpr and ho le shyt this rifle is exciting to shoot! I did my barrel break in all the while sighting in a nikon i had on a .223. I had to sacrafice two pistols to make this happen but im never looking back! Range seems to be very busy in the last few months so i started at the 60yd for break in and by the last 10 rnds i had several small hole groups! Started with zqi 147 gn. Then atomic 168 gn. match ammo. If you can find one on the shelf do what it takes to get it home! Nicon bdc 2.5-10 harris bipod i think i might go to a magpul prs stalk for a sleek look but this will do for now. The cheek riser tends to pinch the cheek between the muffs but i have to try spinning 180' im sure this is a non issue next time.

Id mount it as level as i could? With a small adjustment on x45' sight you might not get a zero for 100 yds. Found mine on ebay one and only purchase for 45$ they are there just because. I maxed them out and i was on the top rails!

Shooting buddy had to replace his in a daniels after 3k rnds all mine have been going strong for over 5-6k rnds but being such a cheep small part i should pick up some spares just incase? I had to replace my trigger in my pre ban oly but rings are solid. Bought used 20 years ago from a guy that was cutting trees in half with a diferent trigger ? ( rnd count??)

Of course i entertained the .50 first! Then the .458 and im cheep!.450 . well kinda but reloding has won me over cost. Same powder as the .300 and same cal. In pistol.. Im far from finding the end but im planning ahead kinda! .450 for now

yep .458 is easy to find! Local gs has all i need for a pistol build but im thinking cheep as always but at a 1$ a shot is justified by the .308 cost? Im not doing a pistol cuz i own a couple .45's i do have a 16" and 8" .300 blk im good there ? im wanting an exotic cal to say i have one but again im on the cheep side of exotic. makes it more fun for everyone but can still rattle the teeth! Im set in mind and reloding but having trouble acquiring parts? All i hear is .458 socom sooooo what i want is what i want and it makes sence to me but.. Cant find the right stuff to make it happen? Calling on my brothers to help spend my money!! I need a : complete upper or the parts and more specific what bolt size does it require?
