No I am in the state Of Idaho On the Nez Perce Reservation it would be fun to get together and see what differences there are..... if you need me to measure or weigh anything just ask more than happy to do it, I have also never had a FTF or FTE and i have shot 4 or 5 different brands of ammo and bullet weights....

I am stumped by this , I have a dpms 16 inch barrel with m4 stock and it does not hardly kick at all, and i have never had a issue with their mags but i know some folks have , glad you are getting everything tuned up....

Love the fishing there thought about moving but found Idaho 30 years ago and never looked back south Alaska weather is to wet for me and the over all expense to live their is pretty high but I do love the frontier their and you have great fishing so so hunting Idaho has so so fishing (we have a great run of Kings each year ) but no hailbut :( but we have awesome hunting for many species so i will visit but I love my own frontier down here remember Idaho is bigger than Texas you just have to pound it out flat! welcome to the forum their some really great folks here...

you have to be licenced by the federal wildlife agency as most birds are protected after you get your licence they issue you permits to either trap a wild immature bird or take a nestling and raise it ,I have done both ways and i like the trapped birds better they already know how to survive..... it is a very rewarding sport but it is a 365 day a year commitment, you have to feed and take care of them every day....I have not been active in it for 12 years just to much going on these days....

and the next morning you lightly fry the cornbread in bacon grease and spoon red eye gravy over it along with a couple of sunny side up eggs..... now we are talkin....

I was a Falconer for many years and the best way to catch rabbits either cotton tail or Jacks is with a Goshawk or A Harris hawk you can catch them all day and they do the work.... we used to catch over 150 a year we would feed most of the rabbit to the birds but we kept the backstraps and at the end of the year had a big party and had lbs of rabbit back straps ... good stuff......

wild turkey stew walk outside shoot turkey, then save breast for another day, take both the legs and thighs and neck put in a crock pot cover with onion soup and cook all day, then pull all the meat off the bones and remove bones and tendons, add to meat and broth 2 cups whole kernel corn and all the Insides from one(pre cooked) winter squash, we like Lakota's . then simmer for 30 min, and serve with hot sause and fresh corn bread. salt garlic and other spices to your taste. bon appy
