  1. Have you tried more than one magazine? Just to rule out the rare possibility of a defective or poorly seated magazine.Even with the first 20 fine, mags have been known to fail. I assume you are making sure the magazine is fully seated in the mag well. The cartridge that fails to load, are there many marks on it? Wonder what the stock buffer and spring is on that manufacturer, as I am not familiar with them. The BCG might not be traveling far enough rearward to strip a round is another possibility. g i vi ng the Definitely take the Bolt Carrier group apart. If the shell is extracting you can rule out the extractor.
  2. I preferred the old one, but Rene has a point.
  3. Quentin, congratulations on your purchase. I am so happy with my Armalites they were the first, and probably the last 308ARs I will ever buy. I have the "B" model because that is all they had when I got my first one, and I got a heck of a deal on my second, but I like the B Gen II mag, so its no big deal. Look forward to your range reports. I will be surprised if you have any issues, they usually come from the factory ready to do some work.
  4. Glad its an easy fix.
  5. Wonder if she found the "clips" that hold them.
  6. We lose too many good men. I am sorry to hear this. May he Rest In Peace.
  7. Go for it but you might be surprised which rifle ends up being your "plinker".
  8. Not to change the topic but I will. I found a cause and a rallying cry I can believe in. " What do we want?!!!" "Better memory!!!!!!" "When do we want it!!!!!!!!!?" "Want what?"

  10. Uh Oh, your on to me.
  11. Glad you and your family had a good time, getting him started right. I am right handed but shoot left. Left has always been my dominant eye. Funny I shoot a pistol right handed and use my right eye for that, even though I have a deformed lens. I am just weird I guess.
  12. Friends lets count our blessings for the way we were raised, and pray our children and grandchildren have the opportunities we did and the chance to learn what hard work and perserverance can do. Raise a glass to you all.
  13. Shepp, I think I do. Got some of my Dads from the 40's. Engineer Bob, you got me by exactly one year.
  14. That was my youth, along with jumping off second story decks into a sandpile. I had great hang time. I think I got some stuff in the back of my refrigerator from '81, by the way.
  15. That site is a chuckle, but why in English? Or am I missing something?
  16. Only winner out of this is Putin, now Israel is cozying up to him to keep him from delivering already sold S300 antiaircraft to Iran, and then to Hezbollah.
