  1. Highs mid 70’s last three days, calm winds. Been in the Islands everyday. Fish are biting so so. But got a few.

    PT

Yeah can relate Brother, screwed up my right rotator cuff last October with too much weight on some unsupported incline curls. Favored it all winter. Finally went in in April when I got back up north. Orthopedist wanted to try a Prednisone injection first, and darn if it didn’t work. Thing about those, they only work once. So then I had to go to eastern Washington for a funeral in May, came back and got home at 1:30 am. Our electronic lock malfunctioned due to a damn leaking duracell ( worse batteries ever) And going around to another door in the dark I tripped and landed hard on paving stones. Lacerated the heck out of my left shin along with a deep bone bruise. They don’t know if I got a hairline fracture or not. It has taken six weeks to heal, but finally got back to the gym even though my shin is still tender. Two steps forward, I step back.
  6. My first year in college I got a job at the University’s Veterinary Med school as a vet tech. One of the first set of procedures I assisted in was for sanitary reasons they had decided to circumcise all the Vet School’s herd of bulls and steers for sanitary reasons. While the hourly pay wasn’t very good, the tips were huge.

    300 Win Mag

Brought my 300 Mag to the range last week and.....forgot the ammo! Had three rounds in the gun case pocket so I took it over to the 185 yard range. First two shots were beautiful, flinched on the third. Look closely, Two of them share the same hole.
  11. One of the most spectacular displays I have seen in a long time. A friend of mine in Tallahassee Florida saw them as well. They were visible to the North, East, West and South last night for about four hours. Tonight is looking promising as well.
  12. Smart move. With all the loss of them due to pesticides, etc. they are important.
  13. The Wilson sisters from Heart at the National Academy of the Arts tribute to Led Zeppelin. Jimmie Page and Robert Plant were in the audience. That woman can sing! And her sister plays kick butt guitar.
  14. Very nice and a bit easier then using a hand held drill with it. Have used the Lee case trimmers with my DeWalt drill for years. They take the guess work out of it. I am cutting back on my reloading until I shoot up my inventory, otherwise I might pick up one of those stations.
  15. Oldie but goodie
  16. Happy Birthday Bill! Any guy who gets to hang with Jeri Ryan now and then has to be all right!

  18. There are any number of research projects going on right now to equip US military forces with drones. And a ton of papers presented to military journals on their impact in the Ukraine war as well as their role in a potential war with China. Think the author is making up the story for news selling sensationalism.
