I had MG hold it ... :D Any idea how much factory SIG p220 FDE handgrips cost (NVM: found it on sig's site - $26).... the rubber hogue grip takes away some of the look of a "traditional" Sig. ....still waiting on the local guy to respond to my email about the MK25

Bah.. Feinstein is on CNN bitching about the LAX shooter and gun availability - ID'ed the gun as an S&W M&P-15 (watch as the price skyrockets on it) and categorized it an AR-15 type assault weapon intended as a "military and police" weapon. -S

Go check the factory loads first and then if they keep getting stuck, call DPMS/Remington and give them crap. I'm sure they'll replace your barrel (or the entire rifle).

I'm out in Queen Creek/Mesa so we are close. Give me a few days...I'll whip up a carbine buffer and you can test it.

Welcome from AZ. Have you tried any other factory loads besides the CBC M80? Seems like a chamber issue.

It may be locking back but is it locking on the bolt face (correct) or the bolt carrier (wrong)? Are there one or two rubber rings around the extractor spring? The Winchester 147g white box is also a little underpowered, just like the XM80C. May want to take that into consideration, and compare those to other ammo to see if it's making a difference. What length buffer assembly are you using? I need someone local to test our .308 carbine length heavy buffer....

Definitely looks like it's short stroking - mine did the same thing with XM80C's when I put in the 12-oz buffer. I did notice some blowby on my CMMG barrel, but it's towards the rear of the gas block, away from the muzzle end. Nothing abnormal. What ammo are you using?

I got a hookup for nice hand loaded .50 BMG's if you ever get one.

Seller wants $700... (plain barrel)....gotta think about it I guess. The gun itself looks really clean and almost new. Comes with the factory black box and installed aluminum hogue grips, with the stock grips included.

Just eat less beans. Overgassing problem solved.

Not an LAR but great 200 yard results - CMMG MK3 with FGMM 175gr SMK HPBT. Grouping was OK but found that the barrel nut was working loose leading to inconsistency.... The heavy bullets definitely help!

What do you mean "arm TSA agents" ? I thought they were already armed....never did notice. BTW, reports mention that the shooter's weapons were "illegal in California", including all 3 mags he had on him.
