  1. Got my Nikon 4-16x42 BDC and a Burris PEPR mount in themail, zipped over to Rainier Arms and picked up a barrel - 18" Mega, mid-length, and just for fun grabbed a Magpul MIAD grip in FDE.
  2. OOps, my bad.... Inadvertently had my space-rifty-scale thingee plugged into my Fart-O-Meter. Never mind.....
  3. But you were THINKING it. I could feel a trembling in "the Force". Possible rift in the space-time continuum...... Go on, let it out......you'll feel better...
  4. Cabela's Tulalip, Washington store is located within Quil Ceda Village on the Tulalip Tribes Indian reservation adjacent to Marysville about 30 miles north of Seattle along Interstate 5. The 110,000-square-foot store is designed to immerse customers in the outdoor experience and includes conservation-themed wildlife displays and trophy animal mounts. Plan Your Visit to Tulalip From the Cabela's web site.
  5. Damn...I've always liked it when a lady strips off those net stockings.......
  6. Grrrrreat looking dog. Looks like a love story waiting to happen. Glad you could rescue him. That's a huge deal! Enjoy!
  7. Yeah, the Vortex is a compromise, keeps the muzzle down, quiets the flash a fair amount, has a bit of effect on recoil, too. Really, recoil to me just isn't an issue on the 6.8, but I do like it. And I think it's cool-looking, which is a bonus. I AM a stylish SOB. Har!
  8. Lots of info on this today. Congrats to Holder and the other turds in the Injustice Depart, FDIC, etc. New record for lawlessness in pursuit of political targeting. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/05/19/gun-retailers-claim-federal-regulations-are-freezing-them-out-of-business/
  9. In addition to barrels (see link prev. comment), ARP makes a bunch of 6.8 muzzle devices. I have their Vortex on my 6.8. Decent prices, too.
  10. I used ARP's 18" barrel and super bolt on my 6.8 build, and I'm very happy with the accuracy. There's a very good explanation of what is different about the ARP bolt on the ARP web site. http://www.ar15performance.com/bolts___carriers
  11. I'd bet they hide out for a while, then come back with some other scheme. Then there's the issue of 80%, 90% whatever% lowers, SBR's, etc. etc. Somehow I just have this mental picture of a bunch of turds hanging around the water cooler dreaming up more of those shenanigans. I'm not feelin' the love for us gun nuts from BATFE. Stay alert!
  12. And what the hell, congrats for having the smarts to have cash available! Ya can't take advantage of the steals without some planning. Smart guy!
  13. Now dammit, that there is hysterically funny! Problem is, I'm 72. Might not be around to plant their ass! Hahahahahahahaha!!! I do like a man who takes the "long view". Don't need to kill 'em. Just wing 'em. Parts will rot off later.....Yuk!
  14. Welcome from Washington! Can't help you with the wrench, but I just got a set of these blocks, and they appear to be very good. My son also has a set, and loves 'em. http://www.plastixrevolution.net/collections/ar15-vise-blocks
  15. My question is why? I live close to JBLM in WA and yeah, we hear the big guns when they practice. BFD! Sounds like freedom to me. Don't need my tax dollars being spent to make the big toys quiet. So have they effectively changed a great piece of mobile artillery into a fixed fortification? Holy Crap!
  16. I think you are right....for now. Obummer would screw us if he could, and ATF still obviously wants to. I don't think Congress will allow them to do it. Damn impressive video. Surprised at the penetration. Wow.
  17. Got a 4' Littlestown. Made in Littlestown PA, it says. Green. Little rust here and there. Over 50 years old, works like new. I'm amazed at the Chinese-made crap you can find out there. Jaws don't mate up, loose bases, poor castings, etc. That Yost looks like a piece of quality work.
  18. Problem is, like their fearless azzhole leader Prez. Jerkov, they don't really give a rat's ass about the law. Obummer has proven that by simply ignoring the Constitution whenever he finds it inconvenient. Dead on we need to spread the word.....and stay alert.
  19. I got mine very quickly. Played with it, and it seems suuuuuperbo. Bad news is I'm waiting for a barrel, so will be a while before I get to shoot. Can't wait. Service was excellent, prompt, good packing, very satisfied with CS.
  20. Oh hell, yeah! That's one cool pic. Gotta send that to the two Turd Senators from Washington State who hate guns.
  21. I have an extra buffer detent spring because it landed next to my foot after it launched the buffer detent. Bought some extra everything-that-flies parts after that. Yuk! At the time I was not aware that everyone has done that at least once, it seems. Still feels dumb.
  22. I hear the race back to the top took 11 days, 2 hours, 5 minutes......
  23. Got my Elftmann trigger and the charge handle I ordered with it.
  24. Got my Elftmann today - and the charge handle I also ordered (why the hell not?). Excellent service from these guys. Nice lookin' trigger!
  25. I'm betting this is the problem. Dump the priming tool. You are using good brass and primers, and it doesn't sound like a problem with case sizing. (I also like the idea of seating and crimping in two operations, but that's another issue). Sounds to me that the primers are not properly aligned, or they are actually going in a bit of an angle. A deformed primer could certainly lead to a blown out primer.
