  8. I like it, I bet that is about as low as you can go with the scope, did I say I like it?
  9. I used to get laughed at when I would take the Winchester 42, .410 pump gun dove hunting. But it is actually the only gun I ever got a triple on doves with. Hardly anyone laughs anymore. I have been shooting it since my 12th birthday when my dad bought it for me. I have worn the bluing off both sides of the receiver and much of the barrel. I hunted with it the day before I left for Marine boot camp and my dad used it and never cleaned it until after I came home from active duty. It is scratched up and the stock has a lot of dings. Dad always shot the short 2.5" shells in it because it was faster to reload, he said it jammed when he used 3" shells. It never jams with me. I did have fun cleaning the chamber for 3" shells after he used it a few years without cleaning it. It is a delight to carry and wing shoot when walking up quail and doves.
  10. This one will reach out to the other side of the cotton patch and touch someone even a small someone.
  11. Husband and Wife Christmas Shopping A couple were in a busy shopping center just before Christmas. The wife suddenly noticed that her husband was missing and as they had a lot to do, so she called him on the mobile. The wife said " Where are you, you know we have lots to do." He said "You remember the jewelers we went into about 10 years ago, and you fell in love with that diamond necklace? I could not afford it at the time and I said that one day I would get it for you?" Little tears started to flow down her cheek and she got all choked up… "Yes, I do remember that shop." she replied. "Well I am in the gun shop next door to that."

He is local LEO and a vet does all night vision and surpressed hog hunting. I also kept the original hand guard. Since then He has sold me a Wittness .40 S &W and my MIA National Match for better price than any where I can find.

  16. We are glad you got this problem figured out on your own. I've done this before, way back there when there was no internet and a couple of times since I started surfing. It feels good to discover the old bucket still holds a brain, don't it! Welcome! and thanks for adding to the quality of the site.

  18. Bob, I don't have any batteries on any of my stuff ether and I also couldn't find any on my fishing rods or hooks, nor my 1980 15 HP Seahorse outboard motor, Am I overlooking something ?
  19. No it isn't a contradiction, but a choice
  20. Actually it depends upon how you lift the front axle, instead of lifting the vehicle just push it forward and mark the tires in front then push the vehicle back 1/2 a revolution, the idea is too get a measurement between the tires when in front and compare that measurements between when the marks are in front to the one with the mark in the rear. If the measurement in the rear is longer you have toe in.it should have about 3/8" to 5/8" toe in, never toe out.
  21. I set a long piece of 1" x 1" square tubIng on two buckets in Front of the tires (jacked just high enough to rotate the tires) and put a strip of masking tape on the tires even with the center of each tire and put a mark on the tape and the square tubing. Then place the buckets and tubing behind the tires rotate the tires and line up the mark on the tires this will show the difference between front and back of the tires (toe in or toe out.
