I haven't received a letter from them as of yet either.

I bought my 308 upper & lower separately from Aero Precision and they still matched excellently. I put a 20" Aero barrel on there and it shoots sub moa with handloads. You can build with confidence on the Aero platform IMO. Regarding your choice for hunting, if it were me, I would also go with the 16 or 18" barrel. Most of your hog shots wouldn't be outside of 500 yards I would suspect a day the 16 should do that all day. Best of luck to you.

I held off for a good long while before I finally pulled the trigger on it. In the end I wanted the convenience and repeatability so I sucked it up and bought it. I'm not knocking the other systems out there, just saying that this was the route for me. Now I really don't have any excuse for not getting all that brass prepped...lol

Well, it finally happened. I got my Giraud case trimmer via UPS on my doorstep yesterday :thumbsup: I ordered it set up with the 223 Rem trimmer but also ordered the 308 head & 300WSM head. Totally stoked!!! Now to get the those 5 gallon buckets of brass :woohoo:

I run Raptors on all my rigs. For full disclosure, I've never used a Tac-Ops but I've always been happy with my Raptors.

Ain't that the truth!!! Snowshoeing in the middle of winter up & down a mountain is a kick in the nads, I don't care who you are!!! Been there and done that!!! Sure is a great feeling and experience when it's all over though!
