  1. JT, my buddy was having a similar problem until he took out his airsoft Armalite AR15 and pelted them with the biodegradable bbs. Pretty effective deterrent from what I hear.
  2. Yup, you nailed it. Thanks chief.
  3. I don't have the option to reply in the politics section either. It's only in that section for some reason, unless I'm missing something. For clarification, I run the mobile version.
  4. Magpul Pro front sight stowed above rail height = 0.43" Magpul Pro rear sight stowed above rail height = ~0.37" Those numbers are taken directly off the Magpul website. I know you were looking for Troy Micro heights but I thought I would throw that out there for reference.

  8. Well buddy, just know that I'm here for ya...I'd hate for you to have to endure the agonizing thoughts which may distract you from your primary focus of working this weekend :)
  9. JT, that really sucks! I'll tell ya what...you ship it to me and I promise to shoot most of it this weekend. Fed Ex works for me...lol
  10. Sexy...how does she shoot?

    1903 Colt

    That's really cool!!! Nice score!
  12. I like the pistol...just wish 22mag ammo wasn't so expensive. And you can't even reload for it... I agree though, it's a great backpacking pistol!
  13. Hey Magwa, how do you like that carbon fiber hand guard?
  14. When I saw the title of this I thought it was going to be about "gator hunting" in Louisiana. "Choot em"
  15. Totally agree with you there. I haven't reloaded for 7.62x39 for that very reason. I still pick up the brass when I find it though.
  16. Forgot to add that I do not cast my own lead bullets which would further reduce the cost at the end but that's a whole other process I'm just not willing to invest in at this time. If your willing to buy in bulk and watch for sales the cost savings is IMMENSE!!! P.S. I do not factor in my time as a calculation for the cost of production. It's just another hobby to me, one which doesn't exactly save me money so much as allow me to shoot more often.
  17. That's kind of a trick question Robo. The truth is that it really depends on the cartridge you're loading & if you buy components in bulk. For example: sometimes I find 9mm on sale for as cheap as I can make it. On the other hand my 300WSM cartridges cost almost $3 each commercially but can be made for around $.59 each if I do not count the cost of brass which has been reused.
  18. Ah the joys of Michigan living. I've spent many a fall day splitting wood for the wood burning stove! We did use a hydraulic splitter though since the wood was delivered by the semi load!

  25. Wash, you are too funny!!! I haven't had to do the colonoscopy thing yet, not 50 & not near it...but I heard from people that have had it done SWEAR that the "prep" is BY FAR the worst part.
