  1. Wow, all this info and intrigue. It's like training to be a double naught spy aka Jethro. Always a pleasure Sir, thanks for the nudge. SWMBO is in fact a bookkeeper, thank goodness for Money Orders. The last time I had $500 it burnt a hole in my pocket, really. Be judicious and rid yourself of that potential hazard. I have a definite problem in ordering from Armalite, I can't buy from them without a phone call. How do I check my security levels? On to some reading, TY COBrien.
  2. That link sends my computer to never never land. That spinning beach ball looking wheel shows up and never stops. Forced shut down. Google the subject and same same. It must be major juju.
  3. Yeah, yeah, uh huh, uh huh, got it got it. It's all so clear now.
  4. Good Z, Good, nothing like a polished presentation.
  5. poop? OK that's good enough, the emphasis was never on the exclamation anyhow.
  6. Very nice COBrien, congrats. I too have avoided PRS/LRP with my current 6.5cm build. No way am I getting into LRP. I think you're on to something with a .22 wmr/LRP. I can see me now. " ...I know Honey, I done messed up again. I just don't have the range necessary to compete with the fellas. Yep, you're right I shoulda bought two rifles when they were on sale. I'll keep an eye out. I'm such a jerk at times." I'm not going to pull this off am I ? poop, I need a better line.
  7. Been through it several times and sending prayers out for all involved. As far as the trunk business goes guess which one I want to get out? It ain't the one wagging the finger.
  8. Oh yeah, I once thought using a scope was almost cheating. No longer do I think that way, my eyes are no longer as trustworthy.
  9. I had, and still have, to a lesser degree though, a hard time picturing folks qualifying at a thousand.
  10. I figured out why it only has one dimple on the bottom of the barrel. I'm guessing for now, need second opinion. One dimple pre drilled, and the jig offers four spacing selections, .400. .425, .450. .470. I imagine different manufactures have different spaces in their design.
  11. Received the buffer already. Ordered Tues., received Fri.
  12. I have ordered the jig, thanks.
  13. Morning Inet, a late welcome, terrific first post.
  14. PM'd
  15. Understood survivalshop. I threw in the spc all by my lonesome. It was 3 am and just woke up from the nightmares I often get. Two cups of coffee fixes that pretty good. These contracts are worth millions at the very least and many concerned folk are often betting their lives on them. I'm no expert but I did get involved with submitting government paperwork. I think you should get the contract if you fill the forms out correctly. Thank you for the notice. Believe me no pun or BS intended.
  16. mmm this be expensive this cave. Must find cheepos cave.
  17. Agreed, there are many developers standing by with 6.8 hoping for an approval. Many small time operations are betting on a shot at the big time. I opted for the 308 and 6.5 and got rid of all 6.8spc stuff. Well I am stuck with 900 pieces of once fired brass and a set of dies that sit on my bench smiling at me. Most 6.8 shooters use the round for hunting, not for the 3 to 5 hundred yard distance the Army wants improved. Hands down the 6.5 cm is the better round. If 110gr is better than 55-62gr, the 140gr is absolutely the way to go. The non-official slogan " Reach out and touch someone." begs for the 6.5 or 260.
  18. Thanks Sisco.
  19. Many articles suggest they both were accepted.
  20. Thanks buddy. Please don't waste your time on it, I thought you might be stocked. In any event I'm standing by. I'm curious to see your next big thing. If it's the 911 cartridge I am aware of it. I'm still trying to maneuver 5k from somewhere. Santa is gone for the season, Easter bunny, nah all I see is colored eggs. Birthday coming in August, nah probably another flannel shirt. I'm in Florida, I hope you appreciate the flannel and tropics combo. They hate me I'm telling you. For me to spend 5k I'll need to come up with 10k. Looks like I'm going to be busy for awhile. Manuevers don't fall from the sky you know. They need to be hatched and carefully observed. 10k I like the challenge.
  21. Yep, like the old song, "...and the beat goes on, the beat goes on." I read one sentence that said a decision was made. The rest of the article not so much. Do you think the decision is solid? Me, not so sure.
  22. PM coming
  23. O c'mon, what happened? Well I'm guessing he lost the fight, hopefully not his life.
  24. That's funny^^^. Bought a little tower ac unit for the garage. It's my hangout, OK it's my Fortress of Solitude, dome of silence, Al Bundy vacation spot, CIC, or defcon III hidey hole. Hot as Hades in here, and I get the afternoon sun for hours. I bought some reflector material to install on the inside garage door panels. Need to punch hole through block wall and drain hole. Perfect. I'll probably drop dead from heat exhaustion during the install, but if'n I make it, Fla. summer be damned.
