  1. Jacob, thanks for the info. I did not know that the PALS system is designed to be stitched together to work properly. It now makes perfect sense.
  2. I have already looked at their site for that...... Cash/funding is the block to getting my desire fulfilled......major block..
  3. Fukr'z.....now I REALLY want a 9mm.....
  4. I second the "wet" BCG for break-in before worrying about other problem areas.

Wow. AAnd then page down to read the rest who have past already this year in that link.
  6. Happy belated Father's Day to all who can claim the title here. I have come to the conclusion that my final act of service to my father was the placing of his urn into the burial vault, along with the items my mother wanted with him, and placing him into his final resting place myself. I look at this act as an honor given to me. Thank You Dad.
  7. What helps the most is knowing there are friends who have been there before to help you out, give advice, and the kick in the arse when needed. I am starting to get old I guess, always thinking of something else to say after I have already spoken....
  8. Stiff upper lip! Feeling better today, yesterday was a low spot I guess. Now on to enjoy my first wedding of one of my own sons! Thanks for the support, and those comments helped more than you know. Mrmackc, you had better get movin' on that report!
  9. .....almost couldn't type that one..... I guess part of what is happening is that we had Dad's funeral in early December, and the burial now. I just thought I had everything pretty much dealt with back then....I handled most of everything for my family and "stayed strong" back then..... ?my turn now?
  10. Thank you guys. There is a bit 'o Irish in me, and Dad liked to bring out that part of us. That sounds like one excellent idea..... Just a bit more than i wanted right now I guess. Boy, am I going to need that bike ride to Idaho in a week......
  11. Sorry for the post, I have just been mentally busy lately......the aforementioned deaths, my oldest sons' wedding this weekend (Saturday), and buring my father on Sunday. Needed to vent....
  12. I have lost 2 good friends from my buffalo shooting competition days within the past 2 weeks. I guess that is what is to be expected when we get older. I am only 46, but many of my friends in the shooting sports are older than myself. It is just hard.
  13. It has cost them money, and "face".....if it didn't there would have been no problem getting interviews.
  14. ....and to kick a dog when he is down....blank screen just happened when I clicked on the homepage link at the top.
  15. I just received a blank white screen when I tried to access the main page from my "favorites", but no problems when I hit the link at the top of the clubhouse page. NNo other issues have shown, and I did notice the different ad banners previously.
  16. RIP, Adam. I grew up watching you, and thanks for the memories.
  17. Well, the first fix for that "first week hemorrhage" problem....get a .gov job where yer paycheck is posted on the 27th! After that, just try not to spend the whole damn thing right away! But in seriousness, this month is hard for us; my oldest is getting married next week, and then we head out to Idaho a week later for vacation. ....not to mention I have been picking up alot of small ticket reloading itelms....
  18. Doesn't look like he makes a 9mm upper. At least I couldn't find any on his site. And part of the problem is that I would end up spendig as much on his upper as a whole package costs now.
  19. Title is sorta self explanatory...... I Am questioning the men here who have put together a 9mm AR rifle/carbine (16" barrels) and have very good function/operating with it. As such, I am not really looking to buy a bunch of pieces and build from the ground up, but more of an upper/lower buying deal and put that together....or even a whole gun. I keep looking at PSA 9mm's with their glock lowers and a 16" upper of some type.....just wondering what you guys think of their stuff. Or does another company make a comparable play toy for a comparable price? My main goal is a cheaper range toy that is reliable, and that I can reload for as easy/cheaply as the 9mm allows....
  20. What is entertaining about this whole thing is that directly after posting my offer, I got out of my pickup and walked into a local sporting goods store to buy some supplies for myself. As I am standing there looking at the wall of reloading accouterments (the case removal tool kits right in front of my face) I started giggling to myself while thinking of just buying the necessary kit for you and mailing it. ....now a 6'2" hairy biker looking guy standing and giggling probably wasn't the best thing to do, as 3 sales staff were asking me if I was "finding everything alright?" In quick succession. Just a bit of dry humor from the weird side......
  21. Awesome Jacob!! Now I just have to remember to order before the end of the month.....I need to wait due to overspending already....
  22. If you really want to use a kit, I can send you mine. I just want it back when done. And they do work, and they are needed when you short yourself on lube.
  23. CentralCNhunter, Looks are secondary, function first! If the part works, that is all that matters, paint/blueing/ceracoat/ECT., is all nothing but coverings for pretties. No animal is going to give 3 craps about whether your bolt catch looked good, but it will care more about your rifles correct function. And some POS is much more likely to care about failures, if that happens to be the tool 8n your hand when needed.
  24. You guys are making me lonely...my rifles are at home alone, and here I am at work.....
