  1. Sometimes free ain't cheap...
  2. I figured if I mentioned it something would turn up As to the barrel cooler, well I have me a new 3D printer(16"x16"x 19"H work envelope) That I'll unpack( still new in box) and knock off a few to bring down for the fall. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5351868 the site also has a bunch of files for reloading/shooting accessories. Once I get going I'll start a thread on #D shooting related stuff
  3. The chassis look sharp in blue with the black accents.
  4. Can almost sell it through the screen! Isn't BBQ season year round?
  5. There are a couple shops that primairly cater to LR and ELR shooting that have a bit of stock on large projectiles. There has been an increace interest in LR and ELR shooting while our ARs and such are under house arrest. The hardest thing to find will be the primers and it looks like powder will be close behind in the near future. I'm down in Idaho for 4th of July so should have some feedback from that. Then in Nov I'll have her down in Maricopa to see what she can really do.
  6. Barrel cooler, interesting. Makes me think I should bring an infared thermometer to the fall shoot, take readings as we shoot. Between the IR thermometer and the chrono and changes down range it would be interesting to see if there is a useable pattern
  7. It's interesting how the drop on the 6.5 and 300 similar and the 7 . The 7 seems to out perform the 6.5 by 12-13% as far as drop goes and even better vs the 300
  8. I appreciate that coming from a man has Armalites and Barrett The 6.5PRC did the mile on a 20MOA rail and for the 2000yd had to do 5-6MIL hold over. I have but not installed a 30MOA rail(SA) for the 6.5PRC. At 2K I was circling the target but not landing. Hoping to get some heavier bullets to try. For now the 20MOA(LA) rail was availible but I've ordered a 30MOA(LA) Quick plot in the ballistics compaing the 6.5 to 7 PRC at 2K, the 6.5 requires +26.13 mils while the 7 requires +21.6 mils so at 20MOA rail on the 7 I'm pretty much dial all the way up for the most part. The 30 MOA rail while give me a healthy margin if I choose to use it.
  9. The plan is to bring down Maricopa Express,Maple Syrup,The Raven( 5.56 and hopefully the 9mm conversion) and a pistol or two to be decided on still.
  10. Thanks, Just wondering if you notice a change in POI between the divisions? if any how much? Also do you get a measurable difference in the muzzle velocity between the divisions?
  11. So Operation Maple Syrup was origionally planned in 7mmPRC but I didn't want to wait a year for a barrel( no Canadian barrel maker had anything) so 6.5PRC it was. After shooting to 2000yds it was time to reconsider the 7mmPRC and Operation Maricopa Express was envisioned. The idea was a rifle as a tribute to not only the place that opened my eyes( and my wallet) to shooting in ways I hadn't even imagined but more importantly it's the people that are part of this great experiment. So parts are showing up... Bergara B-14 HMR 7mPRC 1-8 twist 24" barrel A bunch of MDT stuff- ACC PREMIER CHASSIS SYSTEM( same as Maple Syrup but in desert tan( of course), MDT muzzle brake, 20MOA scope rail. Scope to still be determined.
  12. So when you sort your cases do you pick a specific weight and use that for all your precision shooting and regulate the rest as plinking ammo? Or do you just put together 50 case lots where each lot is within 1 grain but no two lots are necessarily the same?
  13. Where I'm at they have a program for local home owners where they set you up with hive(s) and the bee keeping gear. In return you give them back 1/2 the honey you collect which is sold to contribute towards the program.
  14. @392heminut Paypal work for you? Unfourtunatly it's the easist way to send oney across the border.
  15. Nice bullseye on the cold bore so I'd say you're dialed in
  16. Welcome from BC
  17. All great pictures but this one in particular
  18. If you unscrew the cap and give the string a sharp pull it activates both the nitrous oxide and turbo boost at the same time
  19. Just got the tracking number so mid next week expecting my new Bergara B-14 HMR in 7PRC. Took a bit of hunting, seems getting either the 6.5PRC or 300PRC is relitively common but this was the only 7PRC i managed to find in Canada. Eventually I'll put it in a MDT chassis like Operation Maple Syrup. Hint- if you can wait MDT has their big sale Black Friday
  20. My neighbor has a couple hives, they are facinating creatures.
  21. This ultra SBR was found at a recent drug bust at a Vancouver suburb
