  1. He only needs some rivets on the finger tips of his gloves. Show a stream of sparks coming off that hand and the pavement. Sweet!
  2. Like you said, Matt. Happy trails, John. You'll be missed.
  3. Okay, I don't know if you have the piece of paper that labels you as an "Engineer" but, if you don't, let me know. I can't help with the paper but I might be able to find a hat for you. They still won't let you drive the train but, you know, fukk'em. When I wired my house, the inspector asked, "Who did this?" I said, "I did." He said, "I thought so. Too neat for an electrician." Ain't it fun to be anal?
  4. And from Arkansas.
  5. The wife and I have a deal. She cooks, I drink. I think we've got that one covered.
  6. I was going to say something about Shrodinger's cat when I got distracted by the cat below your post.
  7. Welcome from Arkansas
  8. Real nice, no matter what you say!
  9. Yeah, that's the way I feel like I ought to be going into Walmart!
  10. Back in the early 60s, I had one that swooped down out of a tree near to my front door and skimmed his talons through my hair. No harm, no foul (fowl?) but i was particularly careful not to get too close to that tree from then on.
  11. Oooh, sounds like more lube is the answer to a lot of sticky issues!
  12. Owls know. You gotta protect what's yours!
  13. Only that prices are going up right now. They'll be more affordable later, when the panic dies down.
  14. Welcome from Arkansas.
  15. Oh, just saw your allusion to gay and AIDS. Nope, no bar hopping for me. As a matter of fact, my wife and I met because a ride (with another guy) turned out to be just a bar hop and she was hoping for more. She and I ended the night together, and we've ended the last 35 years together too. We've managed more that just a bar hop now and then!
  16. Normally, I'd agree with you. But Trona was a machinist (gearhead) who did some sweet machining. He made his own open primary setup for a belt drive that locked the crankshaft gear and the transmission gear into a rigid plane. Kept those shafts from flexing and trying to meet in the middle. Not his description, my own interpretation. It was rigid, and when you're dealing with 100+ cubic inches of Harley, that's significant. BTW, this was back in the late 80s, so I'm not talking about what's hot now.
  17. ^^^ What he said.
  18. Welcome from Arkansas.

  22. Welcome from Arkansas. Been following your thread. You'll get good info here.
  23. Welcome, NTG. You'll find a lot of other NTG types here along with a bunch that truly should qualify as TRD (The Real Deal).
