The pistol braces showed up today. They tighten down snug with more than 1 little set screw like the KAK. 1 buffer tube was a little smaller diameter and I had to put a couple wraps of duct tape on the tube so the brace would clamp down properly.

My 870 has hi base 6's first 3 shots. 3" 00 buck next 3 shots. Slugs last 2 shots. If I have to use the slugs i am beyond careing what i tear up. More 00 buck on the stock for reloads.

They used to have 2 1/2" shells before 2 3/4". I have a pretty 20 gauge with a Simmons rib and georgous wood letting dad use it till he has no longer a need for a shotgun. It was my grandfathers.

Browning had the BOSS system a few years back.you could adjust the muzzle device to vary the barrel length and change barrel harmonics. Not really changing the barrel length but changing the harmonics. It might be easier to test that way I sets of buying a bunch of barrels.

The 500 blackout looks interesting . Don't think I need one. But then again need rarely has anything to do with my firearms purchases.

If you want to SBR it there is a collapsible wire stock available. Single point sling and a red dot and a light. Makes a good house gun and with the 33 rnd mags you can make noise for a while. Bought mine off gunbroker for a lot less than what they want on that link.

The PSA will maybe run. Maybe not. You will probably be buying the Armalite parts for it too. Just buy the Armalite carbine tube ,spring and buffer and be done with it. The PSA upper will need to have the Armalite gas tube installed unless PSA has finally listened and started installing the proper part. I bought the rifle lower from PSA so my only problem was the short gas tube in the upper.

My Nikon spot on app is real close on drops for my 308 out to 300 yds (that's as far as I can shoot here on the farm). I am pretty sure the app will be close for the Grendel. The app has that ammo in the program. I just need better glass and a LaRue trigger for this rifle now. Put the LaRue that arrived Friday in the PA10. Hard to believe that trigger is leas than a $100 . What a difference from the "enhanced" PA10 trigger.
