  1. https://www.armalite.com/SACItem.aspx?Item=AR10REKIT01&ReturnURL=/Armalite/Product-Category/AR10-Parts-Accessories&Category=4eeff98b-d9a6-40fd-be6b-ab2e44ec1080 This will fix your recoil system.. You will also probably need to change your gas system to function suppressed. Get the rifle running 100% first then mess w/the can.

And 09/11/2012. 4 Americans died and the government told troops not to go to their aid.
  3. Looks nice. Bet it will be fun to shoot.
  4. That is my understanding. The bolt headspaces to the barrel extension. The extension is installed before the gas port is drilled so it indexes straight up. The chamber is behind( in front of) the barrel extension. They MIGHT be able to take a chamber reamer and take a bit more material out of the chamber. I would send the bolt and barrel back to the maker. They might have a bolt that head spaces correctly without changing anything. What did the brass look like that you fired?
  5. ∆∆∆∆∆ What he said. Works every time
  6. The only way to fix the headspace is send the barrel and bolt back to Faxon.
  7. That is Wilson's own length gas tube. I am going through that with a barrel I bought from them. Optics Planet is supposed to have a couple in stock. The one you want is 13.25". Wilson is out of stock at the moment.
  8. Read the fine print. Wilson barrel showed up. I thought it used a midlength gas tube. But NO is uses something between midlength and rifle length. 13.25" Wilson is out of stock. Optics Planet supposedly has 3. Last time I ordered something from them that was " in stock" I was told the next day 2-3 months. I ordered it we will see.
  9. https://www.bearcreekarsenal.com/bca-223-5-56-nato-300-blackout-side-charging-bolt-carrier-group These people have them on a regular basis. Out of stock at the moment.
  10. Wilson is on it . Already @ UPS ETA is Friday.
  11. So True
  12. The local place here has AR's in 5.56 and 308. 5.56 pistols too. Think the are building them in the back.
  13. They were out of stock on the ranger profile. I bought a. Bear Creek upper knowing I would need a good barrel. $ 329 for a complete upper. The upper ,BCG and rail are worth that. Bear Creek barrel is shooting about 2 MOA and it is a heavy barrel. It will make a nice club.
  14. So you are taking the bolt carrier out of the equation. I would be MORE interested in the results of the head space measurement in the configuration I would be firing the rifle. Doesn't but almost closes on no go gauge my way. But closes on no go gauge when I measure like most people. Just doesn't sound safe to me.
  15. I use Varget for 308 and 223. That's the only rifle rounds I load right now. 6.5 creedmoor and Grendel are next.
  16. Lookin good.
  17. I'll give that a try. Thanks.
  18. We can find jars but lids are scarce here.
  19. Welcome from KY. Nice looking rifle. Hope it runs well for you.
