  1. Check out: http://www.cncguns.com He's got a bunch of great projects that might interest you.
  2. Good deal brother! I guarantee you will giggle like a little girl just holding a suppressor and knowing what it's going to do for you...
  3. Trust me, it was an easy one to make... That crap hurts in a way that defies description.
  4. A picture is worth a thousand words...
  5. Some people just have a higher tolerance or higher resistance to voltage. I've leaned into 480 volt 3-phase leads a couple of times on AC units and been able to pull off it. It hurt like crap, but 110 in comparison just feels like sticking your tongue in a 9 volt battery. Don't know how many amps I was pulling, couldn't work up the nerve to do it again with the multimeter in the circuit.... :binkybaby:
  6. Poor LEOs everywhere feel outgunned because their departments aren't issuing birds of prey.... and the TV ads featuring prominent politicians.... "Ya know, I have two parakeets myself and I just can't understand why anyone would want or need a bird of prey. How can bunny owners all over the nation be at ease with these predators prowling the skies at will?"
  7. That's right, and it better be dry enough to consume 98% of your total body moisture too. I swear if the oil industry ever discovers mom's cornbread, oil spills will no long be a newsworthy item.
  8. There are videos on Youtube for how to convert the larger Berdan cups for the smaller Boxer primers... Essentially you enlarge the existing cup and then resize the cup to the smaller primer with a piece of brass tubing. If I can find it I'll post up a link soon....
  9. Congrats buddy, Dad was telling me about that tonight at supper. Glad to hear it made it to you in good shape. You gonna hit up the Numrich catalog and see if you find your spring?
  10. I also have the barrel Tom is describing. We're talking about a cloverleaf/bughole barrel here my friend, absolutely no exaggeration.
  11. I used to have a SA 1911 GI exactly like yours seasprite, that thing would shoot and cycle ANYTHING. I swear you could've packed an empty .45 casing with sand and a mudball and that thing would've shot it and cycled reliably....
  12. I thought about doing exactly that when I had that beastly 24" deal from DPMS, but the thought of all the dirty looks I would get for the interrupted fluting held me back.
  13. Trust me, of all the people in this world, he'd be the last to hold it against you.... unless he sees you as a competitor in the thread-jacking business... <laughs>
  14. The Swiss have that monopoly. Those guys are just unbelievably good when it it comes to making a timepiece.
  15. Love that kind of stuff, really appeals to the machinist in me. I love the way those guys approach challenges and solve problems.
  16. That's what I'd do. Put on the spare and then "Gee, thanks fellas for the free boot. My locksmith buddy has wanted to look at one of these for a while...."
  17. Wow Swissy, that's a beautiful piece! Well done!
  18. Not I.
  19. That looks like the DPMS forearm.... I don't remember which model it is that has the 4-railed handguard but I think it was the SASS.
  20. Glad to hear it's finally headed your way! Looks like my work schedule may be about to return to normal, we'll have to ring the gong some more.... :auto:
  21. Good man, good man!!!! Alright everybody, I'm putting my money on 6 weeks or less before it's sitting in Tom's driveway. Anybody want to lay odds on more than 6 weeks, or less than two? I'm good for $100 on it... ... and speaking of devils, check out my post count Tom.... :D Coincidence?
  22. Strange, I seem to think exactly like a deer apparently...
  23. I want to know how you REALLY feel... ;)
  24. I had no such intentions! Given my similar affinity for older awesome trucks, I think of them as children that deserve a loving home where they will be well treated and dearly beloved.... and I know that you are a prime candidate who deserves the happiness it would bring you. Your accusations are baseless, unfounded, speculative, pejorative, hurtful, and mean... and true... :P
