Given my similar affinity for older awesome trucks, I think of them as children that deserve a loving home where they will be well treated and dearly beloved.... and I know that you are a prime candidate who deserves the happiness it would bring you. That's exactly right... I worry a heck of a lot more about what I CAN'T see coming, than what I can.

Pachmayr Legends: Not my piece, but an excellent picture of a set of grips that are both ergonomically practical and cosmetically appealing.

I ended up taking a drawing to my local machine shop back in November. The poor guy is just swamped and my piece was a free-time project for him, because money wise I can't afford to make it end up on his priority list. However, I did call him last week and pitched the idea of him letting me cut the piece myself using his shop and tools, for which I will willingly pay. He agreed and when I get a day or two off, I'm going to go cut the thing myself.

Pretty tight knit group of guys here, but we're not exclusive at all. People generally stick around because the value of good attitudes and good treatment becomes quickly apparent. The tiny number of people who have weeded themselves out have all done so in record time. Great community here!

I haven't lived very long, but I feel the same way. Threatening my ability to defend myself will meet with the same response as threatening my well being, as far as I'm concerned they are one and the same.
