Pachmayr Legends: Not my piece, but an excellent picture of a set of grips that are both ergonomically practical and cosmetically appealing.

I ended up taking a drawing to my local machine shop back in November. The poor guy is just swamped and my piece was a free-time project for him, because money wise I can't afford to make it end up on his priority list. However, I did call him last week and pitched the idea of him letting me cut the piece myself using his shop and tools, for which I will willingly pay. He agreed and when I get a day or two off, I'm going to go cut the thing myself.

Pretty tight knit group of guys here, but we're not exclusive at all. People generally stick around because the value of good attitudes and good treatment becomes quickly apparent. The tiny number of people who have weeded themselves out have all done so in record time. Great community here!

I haven't lived very long, but I feel the same way. Threatening my ability to defend myself will meet with the same response as threatening my well being, as far as I'm concerned they are one and the same.

I recommend withholding judgement on the rifle until you feel like you've got it broken in and start shooting match ammunition through it. A bolt rifle is very forgiving in comparison and you're not the first to note how much more forgiving they are with mil-surp. Shoot some FGMM or comparable match ammo through it, and focus very heavily on your fundamentals, then make your judgement call on the rifle. It would be a shame to make a poor call on that rifle based on it's performance with mil-surp.

It's a sheath knife not really a pocket knife, but I love my Gerber Metolius!

Colion Noir is a hero of the responsible gun owner community. I've been watching him on Youtube for quite some time now, and find him to be one of the most well-reasoned people I've ever heard discuss gun control from the perspective of the gun owner.

Don't bother, I found a place to order them 10k at a time and i'm sending you a pallet so you can save your money for the builds. :D
