  1. This is now my ringtone, thanks for sharing Jon!
  2. I'm downloading it now, if you PM me with your info, I'll send it to you from my own phone, along with my info so you know it's me.
  3. That particular site has been blacklisted because it's a blatantly anti-gun corporation, and spends significant money on anti-gun lobbyists. I personally do not patronize them if I can help it at all.
  4. Homemade cheeseburgers with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, worcestershire and A1 sauce, and sauteed onions & mushrooms. MMMMMM, that's GOOD!
  5. Slam firing is possible but seems improbable outside of extremely sensitive primers. The firing pins in these beasts are pretty light, and rely on a good strong hammer spring.
  6. It's not a dumb question at all. I use the way the safety operates to verify that my rifles aren't stored with the firing mechanism under tension. If I pick up my rifle and can engage the safety, I know I need to verify an empty chamber and take the tension off the firing mechanism. If I can't, I know I will have to cycle the bolt before the rifle can be fired. It's a double-safe standard, if the safety can't be engaged, it can't be fired.
  7. I'd be willing to bet dies are difficult to obtain, and pulling the lever on the sizing die would tire you out pretty quickly too.
  8. Hey brother, I'll trade you everything I know about this platform for range time on your 1k ranges.... <laughs> <thumbsup>
  9. Hey, go ahead and post a WTB/WTT ad for your BCG and since you've sold this, I'll go ahead and close it. It's fine to post your stuff up for sale, you're contributing to the community so far, we're good with it.
  10. He's trying to approve, definitely. You can't beat two cat eyes and a bullseye all at once, there's just no trumping that.
  11. Hey brother, it's a great scope, nobody's going to knock it... Edge is only picking with you. It's pretty laid back around here, if somebody really snobs you, that won't be tolerated. I think you made a great choice, congratulations brother.
  12. Welcome to the forums! Can't wait to see some pics of your build!
  13. I'm not running a heavy buffer, but I do have a Tubb CS spring, I've never had any problems with it. I can't speak for Clint or what his reasons for not liking the CS springs were, but I believe him when he says he feels the Armalite spring is the best one you can get. Myself, I don't intend to throw out my CS spring until it proves to be a liability.
  14. I have nothing but the highest regard for anyone who wears the badge and gun and does so with integrity and professionalism. Our LEOs here are a outstanding group and you do yourselves and your profession credit. My thoughts and prayers for your safe return home go up daily.
  15. It's a well known characteristic of great minds.... <thumbsup>
  16. Amending the trust is easy. In my trust you simply add the item and denote the date of amendment in the page where you added the item.
  17. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

  21. Welcome to the forums brother, glad to have you.
  22. Yeah, I saw him too. He's cruising around in a Chevy with the seat laid way back... I think he wants to be inconspicuous.....
  23. I'd be pretty worried about my place on the food chain if I had to feed my bread..... <dontknow> <laughs>

  25. Believe me, if you're disappointed, you should have no trouble selling it.
