  1. Welcome to the forums! Congratulations on your new RRA rifle, they make a really nice AR.
  2. It has been quite a while now that I've wanted to get my hands on a full-scale 1911 in .22 without going through a conversion kit, and the pistol I had my eye on was the ATI GSG 1911-22 up to this point. However, today I found this and I do believe the GSG has died the death of a dream replaced. Check it out! http://www.waltherarms.com/products/tactical-rimfire-replicas/government-1911-a1-rail-gun/ While you are there, check out all Walther's new tactical rimfire replica series, they've got some great training and familiarization weapons.
  3. A barrel is a wear item too, how many do expect to have to replace in your lifetime? It's all relative brother... <thumbsup>
  4. Looks like a unicorn puked on it.... <laughs> <lmao> Just kidding brother, love the new look!
  5. CMMG is almost like a bad four letter word around here. There is certainly a prevalence of bad experiences. Take that at face value, but I'm sure the voice of the CMMG-specific experience will concur.
  6. I still love it even though I'd like to try an Atlas. LaRue QR kit is good stuff. I like to watch the reactions of people when the range goes hot and a field stripped AR goes from disassembled to stacking bulletholes in 60 seconds or less. I'd like to have a 10% cut of everything LaRue has sold based on my range trips... <laughs>
  7. I have that exact same setup! <thumbsup>
  8. I love that dude! I hope he ends up very rich and famous for this stuff.
  9. He was dead before the fire caught up. At this point, this is nothing more than a bunch of what if by the media to whore as much attention can come of this situation as possible. This has been over for an hour and forty-five minutes as of this post. That's my $.02 anyways.....
  10. That's what she said..... <laughs>
  11. Yes, that picture was taken on "Bring your parents to work" day.

    Hi

Welcome to the forums Techmike! <thumbsup>
  13. Atlas. I gotta try an Atlas. Those are some sweet, sweet looking bipods. They might suck like a college grad trying to get a job on Wall Street, but I will get one and find out for myself.
  14. Ejecting 3-4 feet to your 4:30 is perfect. When you're slinging them 7-8 feet in any direction and tearing up brass, then you have problems.
  15. This one smells funny to me, especially once you read the manifesto. Am I the only one who thinks it's strange that a sore loser psychopath like this would have to presence of mind to include the trust route for legally obtaining NFA items in a document that he knows will be at the center of national media attention? Why the timing of this incident now? Has his plan for revenge really had to wait until now? I don't know, but people need to look a lot deeper than what the MSM is selling us.

... forcing her to come to your side of the bed for warmth.... You've trained Toby really well Drew, set and match!
  17. We should all go play the lottery, just in case... <laughs>
  18. Good Lord! Did I just with my own eyes see Tom refrain from going there? I'm seeing things! :cookoo: :o Sorry brother, I couldn't resist.... ;)
  19. Sorry for your loss brother. Pets are hard to lose, can easily get just as attached to most of them as a human.
  20. Away and by far, the best way to go is through discounts and what can safely be bought used or lightly used. Some components though, you want to buy as new as you possibly can and those add up quick. I went the all-new component route on my Mega MA-TEN and after I got my suppressor and all that on it, it comes up forward of the $4k mark, BUT there is nothing else out there just like it that I have seen, and it shoots like you just wouldn't believe.
  21. It's not difficult to do at all my friend. A receiver set, a high quality barrel, a real nice trigger, aftermarket safety levers and mag releases + LPK, buffer tube, springs and buffer, bolt and BCG, free float handguard, gas system, BUIS and Optics, and muzzle device. Go price the least expensive of all these items that are a component of any typical build and come back with your total. You will find that even the least expensive components add up so very quickly, this is compounded by the prices you will pay for the higher quality components that you can confidently stake your life on.
  22. Whatever you say Snooty McFlyboy... <laughs> ;) Keep in mind that this is the perspective of a redneck who grew up in the south poor as poor could be. Heck, if I hadn't been born with a pecker, I would've never had anything to play with... <laughs> <thumbsup>
  23. Oh dear sweet innocent Montant, you're thinking about this whole money thing waaayyyy too hard... Chillax brother, we'll have you invested in some very nice glass in no time flat. Money won't be an issue, cause' you won't have any when we're done spending it for you. <laughs>
  24. Truer words were never spoken. We're really a bunch of punks to just let greenhorns walk in here and we all pretend that everybody here is nice, responsible, and thrifty people who look out for each other. The truth is a lot more simple, we are all really slutty gear whores. <laughs> <lmao>
  25. Everybody wave goodbye to Montant's money!
