  1. Thanks for letting us know Dave, I'll lock the thread. You can feel free to PM one of us if you want to unlock/modify the thread.
  2. Al did PM me. He has dibs until he decides he doesn't want it. After that, it will go to whoever PMs me with interest.
  3. So far OP hasn't contacted me, and this thing isn't moving itself, Guill732 feel free to contact me. Same goes for your Powerman, if for some reason it doesn't work out, you have dibs on it next.
  4. <laughs> Well, here ya go Tom, you've inspired me to make this:
  5. If it looks like BS, feels like BS, smells like BS, tastes like BS, and sounds like BS.... There's a good chance it's BS. Just the way I feel about it.
  6. .... and the counterpart to the "I-told-you-so", the inevitable "What do you mean, 'It's too late'?"....
  7. If you watch the video, you will see that it's not an AR at all. It's a Saiga 12ga. variant on the AK. Like Drew said, there's so much BS being flung into the fan, it's impossible to tell what the real story really is.... What's even funnier, I've seen no effort to clarify whose car it is or what the relationship is between the car in question and the shooter. I think the vagueness is intentional, let the good little sheeple read between the lines and have their own minds made up about all the particulars, meanwhile they can work on using the emotional momentum to sell the American public on the agenda at hand.
  8. Wouldn't work anyhow brother. Sharks won't eat a politician, it's a professional courtesy.
  9. Looks like the board of directors is coming to a consensus, I agree wholeheartedly. Fire the bastards!
  10. I-told-you-so's are a real bitch. Dish them out freely, serve them up with a side of "Serves you right!". I hate it when you try to help someone and they just kinda chuckle and shrug you off.
  11. Welcome to the forums!
  12. Obama keep your dirty hands outta my pockets, if you need a raise, you need to discuss it with ME, being I'm your employer and all.
  13. Hey, don't let any of these fellas tell you my affections can't be bought. I could use a new scope! <laughs>
  14. I survived it!!!! I came out of it with no chemical dependencies, cuts, scrapes, burns, broken bones, or bruises. Miracles will never cease!
  15. I've got one if you're still looking.
  16. <laughs> <lmao> *Note to self: Buy whole box of Snickers and extra Gatorade.* I've taken it under advisement. <munch>
  17. I was basing what I said on the assumption that your FFHG was Fulton Armory's product, whereas your product is designed to have not just one, but four of those tabs. My mistake was assuming that those tabs were unintentional, they are not. Most FFHGs that I'm familiar with are flush or square to the centerline of their bore, all the way around the rear of the handguard. Yet another fine example of what making an assumption will do for you, it will educate you, one way or another. <thumbsup>
  18. Methinks this is what has happened as well... :bitchslap:
  19. I'll bet I can hazard a guess, that rounded looking notch is where they brought the milling tool away from the workpiece before it (FFHG) made the full revolution with the milling cutter. You can see the profile of the milling cutter they were using. That FFHG should've been sent back to the manufacturer to be fixed or replaced. Cutting on your receiver is bad juju, and you shouldn't have to do that just because your FFHG manufacturer sent you factory seconds. I'd be real pissed off if I were in your shoes.
  20. Well boys, it's with heavy heart that I bid you adieu for a week or so. The gods have seen fit to attempt to drive me into the farthest darkest corners of insanity by locking me into a remote cabin in TN with my in-laws. If ya'll don't hear back from me again, I will my two ARs to Madhouse and Drew for putting up with me. Microgunner is to get the Glenfield 60 I keep in the closet. Let edgecrusher and Robocop fight over my 1911's. Tom get's the Walther P22 and the Mauser project, cause' he likes old military guns and plinking. That's it for the valuables, everybody else can share the proceeds of the auction from the Silverado, and if you can make it look like an electrical fire, burn the house and take the insurance money. Well, that about covers it, I hope I'm back in a week or less. Ya'll stay outta trouble now, ya hear? Me ---> :stfu2: <--- My in-laws Edit: Oops, dang near forgot... All ya'll have a VERY Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
  21. When you get a good one, it's worth every single penny. A really good barrel is a heck of an investment, but it will pay off with every shot you make through it.
  22. This topic has been moved to Handguns. [iurl]http://308ar.com/forum/index.php?topic=4960.0[/iurl] Since I found something else, I'm moving this from the Want to Buy to the Handgun section.
  23. You can't ask for any better than Roger Wang. He's good people selling unbeatable product. I won't be putting in any more safety levers that come with an LPK anymore, Roger is the go to guy.
  24. Yeah, it worked out pretty nice. Got a SERPA Blackhawk holster with it, with both OWB and IWB configurations, 3 mags, lock and original wood grips, original box too. This thing has less than 100 rounds down the pipe. I don't like the Hogue grips as much as I love Pachmeyers, and I dress my carry gun in "The Tux", my affectionate nickname for the Pachmeyer Legends series grips. Here's a pic of her now: I'm pretty happy. I'm trying to keep it separated from the Rock Island 1911 I used to carry. Can't have these things making babies.... <laughs>
  25. I just miked it up and at the widest part of the brake, (the threads for suppressor) it measures 0.860", the ID of my GB is ~.940". I didn't bother to take it apart, but with nearly a tenth of clearance, I'm guessing it won't be a problem. <thumbsup>
