  1. I'd call that a safe bet, it works by my math.
  2. #1. Dude was asked to leave the property, should've been over right there and then. #2. Shooter has the right to be armed under any circumstances on his own property, whether or not there's a situation that could escalate. #3. Shooter is armed and threat turns aggressor, in what world would we not consider it basic logic that if I'm clearly armed and you decide to try to assault me anyways that you're clearly a deadly threat because you're ignoring or trying to supersede a deadly defense. I can see where an argument might be made for the first shot into the ground, but it's not a compelling argument. Also, I'm not inclined to defend a 'warning shot' because I don't believe in using them. Considering those three facts along with the potential threat to the aggressor's ex, I'd call it justified. The moral of this story is that trespassing is the wrong hill to die on when you're trying to settle a custody dispute. Get off my property needs to mean something.
  3. The relish is always the kicker ingredient, I usually make a few with no relish for @blue109 at the shoots.
  4. I'm not really sure he was actually drunk, he might've just been overwhelmingly fatigued by trying to get drunk on MGD....
  5. In a sweet twist of irony, if he actually had an AR-10, his ASC mags would work. Oh well, life is tough when you're an ASC-hole...
  6. Furthermore I enjoyed it. It was a lot more fun than this boring pissing contest I'm engaged in, but there again, when it's time to defend the honor of one's girlfriend, a gentleman steps up without regard for what his wife will think.
  7. I don't begrudge you your perspective, but try to see it from my perspective: I've been around long enough to see what the lack of a Mil-Spec requirement can produce on this large frame platform. Manufacturers can and will do anything they want to their proprietary designs and it may or may not play well with all the variance that inevitably arises. This is yet another case of THIS IS NOT YOUR AR-15 at play, and it's not a flaw in ASC's design before you decide to go down that fruitless path. It's the variance coming from lower manufacturers and the fact that they don't have to adhere to a standard, which means that a ASC mag that will work perfectly with any of the MAINSTREAM large frame AR platforms it was designed for, is not surprising in the least when it doesn't work for a lower manufacturer that chose to do whatever they pleased with their design.
  8. Geiselle makes amazing triggers, that's a solid choice any day of the week.
  9. I've got a metric ton of ASC mags, none of which have ever disappointed me. Not really sure what you're on about....
  10. exactly, just mention the word turbo and sit back and enjoy the next hour and a half.....
  11. By the way, the topic of Clip # 1 is my accent. Don't you dirty-minded schmoes go taking it out of context....
  12. Course standards were exceeded multiple times and in extraordinary fashion, there's nothing left to prove.
  13. It doesn't read the same when you're 3 sheets to the wind at 1am....
  14. I concur 100% with this post, Doc. I was so happy to see Jay again I almost cried... and maybe I might have, but not in public and I'm definitely NOT saying that I absolutely did. Possibly.
  15. Mike(daddy) brought some exciting new Glock builds....
  16. Is that you Moses?
  17. May I ask why an adjustable gas block is needed? Welcome to the forums, and thank you for your service.
  18. I love a happy ending, good shooting!
  19. Words to live by, an absolutely beautiful passage.
