  1. Oh yeah, Happy New Year too....
  2. I'm fairly thick-skinned. However, I'll take an outright cussing before I'll be called a liar. If a man wants to go there, he'd better put up or shut up. I look at it this way, if I'm called a liar, that person gets a fair chance to put their cards on the table. If it turns out they're right, it's up to me to man up and own the error of my ways. If it turns out they're full of bull, well, then it's gonna get interesting. And with that, I'll get off my soapbox. To be honest, I thought he initially did a good job of keeping his cool, and a fair job of speaking his mind. Alas, when it came to backing anything up with actual data or facts, he chose poorly. The result speaks for itself. We're here to educate ourselves and newcomers, differences of opinion aren't only expected, they're genuinely welcomed. The caveat is that there has to be valid data at the heart of your disagreement. Otherwise it's just an argument for the sake of arguing and nobody learns anything except who the most assertive and stubborn participant happens to be....
  3. Welcome to the forums!
  4. As a result of his failure to post his proof within more than 24 hours, @shaffe48 is now banned. Congratulations to all of us and may 2022 bring more such happy moments!
  5. Congratulations on your retirement Cliff, 2022 is starting off right for you!
  6. Happy New Year to all my brothers and sisters here, best wishes for you all in 2022!
  7. Dang, talk about your backhanded compliments...
  8. LOL Don't blame me, I'm just trying to keep this thread delivering...
  9. You have yet to point out anything I've said that isn't factual. Go ahead and do that, and if you don't, consider yourself banned.
  10. Nobody here has said or implied that most PSA rifles don't work, so that's a straw man. Specifically, we've addressed the shortcomings of the design and manufacturing of the PA-10 platform, which is dreadful. Still, that's only 1 PSA product and we've collectively acknowledged the quality and performance of their other products. You're taking our issue with one product as an issue with PSA in general, and that's your problem, not ours. Well if you want the truth, I'll share it it with you: You're a butthurt child aspiring to be a keyboard warrior.
  11. We just want to make sure that @shaffe48 feels the love he's worked so diligently to earn here that's all. Sometimes folks erroneously assume that derailing their topic is somehow disrespectful, and we want to avoid that at all cost.
  12. This thread is delivering, might be the best possible way to wrap up 2021....
  13. Yes, but not in written form, as that clearly isn't his strong suite.... Maybe a cartoon map drawn in a suitably soothing shade of his favorite flavor of crayon.
  14. Your reading comprehension is awful. The point that has been made repeatedly and observed repeatedly throughout PSA's history with this forum, is that they do know and have been told, and still aren't doing anything about it. I know this because within the last 90 days I took a personal tour of their manufacturing space and spoke personally with their chief armorer and designer. Ask yourself why PSA's website sells a recoil system assembly that has a completely different specification on all components than what is the factory default, and then make a comparison between what those specifications are in terms of factory vs. aftermarket spec. When you do your research you'll find that the aftermarket components correspond exactly to the specifications that were published on this forum years ago when PSA's issues first begin to crop up in significant numbers and we began diagnosing those issues and how to correct them. I hate to state the obvious, but it's evidently something you have some difficulty grasping: If they're selling fixes for problems that were created in the design phase, they're clearly aware of both the problem and the solutions. That said solutions haven't since been integrated into their manufacturing rather than aftermarket tells the tale. I hate to be disparaging with you but it's plainly evident you have no concept of how many years of experience or corrected rifles are behind the consensus viewpoint of PSA's products here. PSA has plenty of reputable products to their name, but their PA-10 platform is unfortunately not one of them.
  15. Just a heads up, I have bought one, just to re-iterate.
  16. I can understand why someone who has been here since September 1st might feel that way, but those of us who have spent more than a decade diagnosing this platform and participating in this forum for that period have seen a great deal to the contrary of your opinion. Then there's my own experiences with the company and it's platform, which is consistent with it's reputation here. I bought one so I wouldn't have to conjecture about whether or not it would work off the shelf. That's been within a year of today's date. If you wanna make some guesses about how well that worked out, I can tell you firsthand that as a random recent sample of one, mine didn't work.
  17. It needed doing, you weren't wrong... I need to send you some guns to clean!
  18. I moved all the threads marked by the "Grinch". I'll clear up the rest on my non-holiday time.
  19. It's now in General Discussion.
  20. Merry Christmas!!! Ya'll are family now for better or worse, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Wishing you all the best for the Christmas Season and the coming New Year.
  21. Sounds like a tight chamber to me.
