  1. Yeah, so since we were headed out of town at 0530,we had taken the dogs to the sitter the day before. Damn the luck. Insurance did indeed pay all but my $250 deductible.
  2. Yes on the locking lugs, but that will just slow them down a bit, they can still get them.
  3. F it, I needed tires anyway. So, I upgraded.
  4. LOL! Factory wheels, the deputy said that's what they target, must be easier to sell. They hit my neighbor across the street too. Must have been quick and quiet!
  5. Cali_Ed - I started with a 250 myself, for the same reason you're talking about. It wasn't bad, fun little bike, a Honda VTR 250. I outgrew it quickly though and went to a CBR600 (which I owned for 10 weeks before a lady totaled me out on it). Then I had a couple of 750 Suzukis, and gave up riding after I came to Houston.
  6. Last Monday, 0530, headed out with suitcase in hand to spend the week in San Diego, and this is what I come out to.
  7. Yeah, both form 4's are in progress now. And a buddy told me there was about a 6-month wait right now.
  8. The Mist-22 came in, form 4 goes in the mail tomorrow.
  9. <thumbsup>
  10. Good stuff! Out of my price range though...
  11. Pass! Only missed 4 of 35.
  12. Nah, the lollipop game is an easter egg they put in there for you. It's pretty difficult.
  13. Have you found the lollipop game yet? Maddening!!
  14. Ugh, did two practice tests today, scored a 57 and a 63...
  15. Galaxy S5 (Verizon) here, lollipop has been fine for me. I like it. It just sucks that I can't root it.
  16. Well, I've signed up for an upcoming test. Thanks for the push, I've wanted to do this for a while.
  17. In warm weather I frequently carry my LPC in a Blackhawk pocket holster. It works well, fabric-grabbing on the outside so the gun comes out without the holster.
  18. Well, bonus time rolled around so I thought I'd use a small bit of it for fun. I bought an AAC SDN-6 30-cal can, and a Gemtech Mist-22 integral 10/22 barrel suppressor. If all goes well, I'll take possession in the next 6 months or so.
  19. I'll assume this sold, and close the thread. Let me know if this is not the case.
  20. Nice job magwa, I've been thinking of doing this for a while now as well. Just haven't gotten comfortable enough with the study material yet to brave the test.
  21. The wife ended up calling him Biggio, after Houston Astro's player Craig Biggio.
  22. So, our 20-year-old cat has succumb to kidney failure and we put him down a few weeks back. Now the house didn't feel right without something furry in it, so we got this 18-month rescue locally. He was rescued on one of our busy highways, with his running buddy who had been struck and was dead a day already, but this loyal guy wouldn't leave his side. His disposition is awesome, very sweet and well-behaved.
  23. Lol, 98, you critical bastid. YOU read it 11 months ago. :)) And nice work Jon. <thumbsup>
  24. Hell yeah, if I were in buy mode instead of build mode, I would get a Windham Weaponry rifle, no doubt. They were Bushmaster before Freedom Group bought them out and closed the factory, many of the same hard-working Maine-iacs went back in and re-opened the shop. Good stuff!
