  1. 37mm does have a lot of "step down" options too. I've seen 12g inserts that basically turn your Havoc into a single shot SBS. I looked into the 40mm and even LE was not exempt. They are a class of explosive that is designed mil only.
  2. You guys knew I had this sitting in the safe, right? For "emergency" signal flares... I still have yet to fire it. I've been waiting for California to have enough rain before I check out one of these starbursts. I don't want to be the reason why DNP gets evacuated every summer.
  3. I always wanted a "stepped" version that tiered up from the edges, like an A-frame.
  4. Leakage around the gas tube is normal. eventually the carbon will build up and create a seal around the tube. Your issues with gas may improve over time as you put more rounds through your rig. Your new gas block may be a little out of spec as well. How snug was the tube when you mated them? The carbon won't be able to seal a grossly oversized space.
  5. I doubt the system will work on a scope. Just based on the price point of their already available systems... A standard FLIR is $2k-$3k, but their long range system is >$70k... that's a huge difference. There must be more involved than simple magnification.
  6. I won't lie. I'm sort of bias towards Rob. Lol The names I suggested to my wife, that were all vetoed: ● Roman ● Judge ● Angel (although he did get Angelo as a middle name) There were more, but I can't remember off the top of my head. I had a buddy named Ursa. My buddy named his son Ronan, which is Celt for "oath". Names we have on reserve... just in case... are Wade and Colt.
  7. What color is the extractor spring insert? Blue or grey? If I remember correctly, one was a little stiffer than the otheŕ.
  8. I'll bet your extractor spring it fuckered up. Tear down your bolt and see what kind of shape it's in. If it's good... look into adding a D-ring in there as well. It's a $0.25 fix
  9. Pat Brn looks good with Blk, FDE or OD. It's a great option.
  10. For when you just don't care.... My buddy bought a replica .41 cal black powder pistol when we were 18. He loaded a light round and got the ball stuck in the barrel. What do a pair of 18 year olds do when they can't pound the squib out with a stick? Use a blow torch on that SOB, until the lead pours out the end!! It never looked the same again, but it fired.
  11. Patriot Brown is pretty snazzy as well.
  12. The Fulton Armory system is a reciprocating side charging system. You have the option of using the rear charging handle or the right side charging handle. There are companies that make a left side reciprocating handle as well. It looks very similar to the Fulton Armory version. LAR Grizzly used to make a dual side charge upper, with no rear charging handle. On top of it all, there are the left side non-reciprocating handles. American Spirit Arms, JP Enterprise, SWORD Int... just to name a few. These uppers generally do NOT have a rear charging handle (I believe the JP version has a rear handle still).
  13. This may be your only option... https://shop.harrisoncustom.com/hd-002-su-t2-rear-night-sight
  14. Pappy. Have you ever considered adopting?
  15. Yup, LPA
  16. I'm tired... *insert joke about personal body oder here* (make reference to how old people smell funny) *mock accordingly* Take that, you old codger.
  17. I got a shovel, night vision goggles, and a shiit ton of vacation time to burn.
  18. I have a 17" bbl with rifle length gas and the heaviest buffer. I have shot 145-175 grain loads (factory and reloads) without issue.
  19. Could you imagine a big ol' .338 pea pushing through that skinny barrel... it'd be like passing a kidney stone.
  20. Gawdamit! Screw you Pappy! I waited MONTHS for the effin DC model to come out. I finally gave up and grabbed the Sig P938 "Scorpion" 9mm instead... literally just like 3 or 4 weeks ago. Add the DC Solo with the CM901 in your will to me.
  21. I like the new dipping stuff. I'm interested to hear how well it holds up on the grip/stock area... even in/out of a case wear.
  22. Why do all IWB holsters look like a catchers mitt? That's way too much material for me.
  23. That's an easy fix. A new receiver (with a shell deflector) will cost you <$200 in parts and about a hour of labor. If you can't do it yourself, you should be able to find a gunsmith to do it for <$300 total.
  24. Nice looking couple
