  1. I want one, but never had the right gun for it. I think I need a 7.62x39 pistol. That'll be the gun for this.
  2. Don't leave out the Apex handguards.
  3. Ok Dirk! Challenge called. A-TACS AU over A-TACS FG with A-TACS LE background
  4. From what I understand, they are the same trigger, except the high speed match has a shorter sear reset. If you don't need to double tap your rifle, the SSA-E will be fine.
  5. The lightening link is the poor mans full auto. Rather than dump a SHIT ton on a factory FA lower, the link will modify any standard lower. It will make your semi auto rifle into an NFA weapon. No different than putting a stock on a AR pistol. Get caught, and never get to own a gun again.
  6. I reuse parts all the time. What part are you worried about? If its an old LPK. I suggest a new spring kit. They are like $10 for all new springs, including trigger and hammer springs.
  7. I'm a big fan of the Wilson Combat TRIM. If their 10.4" is too long for you, they also make a 9.3" Also, KAC just released their URX4 in a 10"
  8. Stolen!!
  9. Damn Murphy!!!
  10. That's sexy as hell!! Does it come in FDE and OD? Lol
  11. i shoot 115's in my 1:8 <dontknow>
  12. I have an 18.5" HBAR and a 15" Apex waiting for a new upper. I was hoping to have all the parts in hand by now. Good luck on your build.
  13. My catalytic converter got swiped again... AGAIN!!! I guess the new target is Dodge diesel trucks. This is the second time in less than a year. The fuckin thing cost $5k+ to replace!!! Luckily insurance picked it up, but I'm still pissed. Now I'm headed to bestbuy to pick up a a better alarm system and a wifi camera system for the house. If anyone has any recommendations, I'm all ears.
  14. I'm on their mailing list... And many others. I'm hoping to score a Sig armorers class this summer. X'ing my fingers that will open some opportunities for me.
  15. Just moving, single point sux. Even standing in place sux! Moving and shooting, especially with weapon transitions, single point is king.
  16. One point slings are great if you are in an active shooter situation. It keeps your rifle always at the ready. The rest of the time your rifle is in the way and wobbling all over the place. Really uncomfortable with guns larger than a SMG or small carbine. Two point slings are tried and proven. Not as "high speed" as the single point, but very stable and a lot more comfortable.... Especially with long guns. If you want a convertible sling (2 point to 1 point), look into something like the Magpul MS2 or MS3 (I have both models). Most people here are fans of the VTAC and Blueforce "Vickers" padded two point slings. They run about $40-$45 each.
  17. I'm looking for 1 or 2 magazines for my duty pistol. I'm trying to phase out my 8 rounders for 10's. I'm looking for the Sig Sauer P220 (stainless) 10 round extended magazine. Preferably with the "sleeve", but it's not a deal breaker without. I am NOT interested in ProMag magazines or any other aftermarket mags. Just Sig mags. Thanks guys!
  18. How dare you question greatness!! You should just expect that he had a near religious experience. Just as when Prometheus shared fire with man, the BABC is a gift bestowed from the heavens. Instead your post should have been....
  19. HeavyBuffers.com You can get the same buffers from Brownells.com too. The heavier buffer will slow the cyclic rate of your rifle, absorbing more recoil into the buffer spring. This will soften the amount of felt recoil after each shot. The extra mass will also force back into battery for more reliable loading.
  20. Apex 12.5" free float tube, DuraCoated "Tactical OD" Magpul MIAD grip (Lrg) with 3M grip adhesive pack Ace ARFX-Entry stock, with LAW Tactical folding stock adapter
  21. Fulton Armory makes a 16" rifle length barrel..... So sexy! If you like the idea of an adjustable gas block, you need to look into the JP (LMOS) Low Mass Operating System. The idea is to use the minimum amount of gas to cycle the rifle. The lower the weight of the cyclic mass, the less amount of felt function of the rifle. They say that the felt recoil is actually 3 parts all felt in conjunction. First you feel the recoil of the shot. Next you feel the action pulling back and releasing the spent casing. The last you feel the bolt slamming back into battery. JP designed the tank brake, the LMOS BCG, the adjustable GB and the captured buffer spring, all to address these issues. They sound great in concept. Since they were made by JP I assume they work and are very high quality. The problem is reliability. Even JP advises against using the parts in a hunting/combat rifle, where every pull of the trigger counts.
  22. That does look really nice
  23. I have a lot of reasons to love my family, but today was awesome. My old man felt bad about my shooting experience so after my visit he sent me home with several boxes of Hornady 155gr AMAX, and Federal 165gr Tactical &168gr Gold Medal Match SM BTHP (It pays that he was a SWAT sniper for nearly 20 years, and has stores of really good .308 ammo) Then... My cousin loaned me his FN Five-Seven and threw me a huge box of loose 5.7x28! Told me he needed help breaking it in. I'm all over that! This is going to be a good week! It's good to have good family!
  24. I guess you can say my NF has auto shut off. After 2 or 3 days the scope turns off :(
  25. The detent channel in the safety core, might be too deep. Or your detent pin might be wonky. What LPK did you use?
