  1. this, just one of the many reasons, is what sets us apart from the "other" sites.
  2. not the receiver as much as the stock itself. The receiver was drilled to accept a larger mounting bolt, but that was it. The stock got butchered to fit the tighter milled receiver.
  3. I'd like to point out that this is a combined 3,220 grains of hollow pointed lead, loaded into a single magazine. With a total of 6 magazines, and one in the pipe, that comes to a whopping 19,550 grains of hot, plant-their-dick-in-the-dirt, expanding, day-ruining, chaotic, mayhem! A 1 oz. 12 gauge slug is equal to 437.5 grains.... Just sayin'
  4. I'm ditching the stupid "shoe" thing on the bottom of the mag. I'm going to try to replace it with a Magpul SMG "Mag Pull" and see if that helps any. I'm a little miffed at the plastic mag bottoms. I'm a mag tosser during reloads, and a little rough on my gear. When empty, the mags don't feel like they'll take much damage when tossed. However, if I accidentally drop a full mag with 14 rounds of 230gr .45's, I'm wondering if the plastic will hold up against concrete or a rock.
  5. GAWDAMN!!! It took me long enough. I grabbed two more mags (6 total) while I was at Cabelas last week. Crazy thing.... I removed the internal floorplate from inside the magazine and was able to fit 15 inside. I'm going to play around with one of the mags and see if I can reliably overload them (Normally they hold 14) Sig P227 TacOps .45ACP (Alongside my P220 Elite Carry Stainless)
  6. If I had it to do over, I'd get the fixed MOE skeleton stock. I don't need a folder (I actually had to pin this stock, due to CA laws) and I ended up using the shortest adjustment. The fixed stock wouldb've been enough.
  7. Here's mine: http://forum.308ar.com/topic/10972-robocop1051s-old-rem-870-wingmaster/
  8. Nows the time to upgrade! You're already doing work and opening her up. Might as well go the distance. My buddy bought me a cheap personalized large receiver pin for the 870. He bugged me for weeks to put it on my shogun. What started out with one pin, ended with a mag tube extension, sling mounts and a barrel shroud. My old Wingmaster, trap gun, quickly converted into a cowboy version of a trench gun.
  9. I already bought and used a full Zhukov set on a C39v1. It came out awesome.
  10. Soooooo seXXXy That's my Eleanor :(

    FNX45

I know. I caught that this afternoon and was shocked.
  12. 9 rounds of .42cal, or a 20 gauge shotgun (loaded in the center of the cylinder)

Not trying to be a shiit talker here... I still think this gun is badass.... Just putting this info out there.
  14. How do you like those grips? I was tempted to get the same one, and slap on a pair of Magpul 1911 grips.
  15. He videoed the shooting from his own perspective, and later tweeted it. You can hear him whisper, "bitch" just before his glock comes into the camera.
  16. you should see the .45acp they have coming out. It was still a prototype at SHOT Show this year.... I got a chance to fondle it a bit :)
  17. A friend of mine picked up an Arsenal .410 in a trade recently. I've been trying to talk him into tricking it out to be a home defense gun. He's limited (California) to 10 rounds, but Federal 000 Buck has 4 pellets, which is more like 40 rounds loaded up, they just fly in volleys. A little fancy furniture, stripping all the extra weight and adding a top rail for a red dot..... it would be pretty sweet if it comes out reliable.
  18. We are trying to raffle off some cool prizes, but not entirely sure how to go about it????? Anyone have any experience with hosting an online raffle/lotto?
  19. Welcome to our hideaway. I'd skip the PSA NiB BCG, and order something from Rainier instead. If you order a BCG and barrel from them, at the same time, they will headspace before they ship.
  20. I don't think it'll help me...
  21. Not applicable. lol. This was just a product announcement, not a product inquiry.... It's all about context and delivery.
  22. It's funny... the dealer kept telling me, "we're the most popular polymer 80% on the market." That's just like telling me you're the best looking ugly chick. If I wanted to shoot a polymer rifle, the KSP would be it. If I wanted to get with a big ugly girl, I'd shave Shepp and teach him how to dance. Lol.
  23. For a cheap 80% option, I expect a bit of work. If I went with a polymer receiver I would probably pick up the KSP set. I'm not big into 80%ers and I like the "reinforced" contact points KSP receiver.
  24. Not sure if you all have seen these guys or not. Www.polymer80.Com They have a .308 (LR-308 compatible) and AR15 model. The rep told me that each kit comes with an 80% receiver, a jig and a drill bit set. The rep said the parts/tools were reusable, but redundant since you get a new set with each purchase. The AR15 kit was $80 at the show I was at. While the company was offering a lifetime warranty, the low price made it reasonable to replace if needed. Just sharing.
