  1. It doesn't look that far off from a velocity trigger.
  2. I've heard theory that the set screw version can add minuscule points of stress at the 6 o'clock of the barrel. For EXTREME accuracy searchers, this theory holds weight.... I don't believe that crap. I buy whatever is available, or whatever my build needs. I've used both and see no difference. Maybe one day I'll get set up to do my own set screws. That'll be by ultimate decision... Not because it's "better" but because it just looks "cleaner".
  3. I always laughed at how the first Fast and Furious was the EXACT same storyline as the original Point Break.
  4. I appreciate the heads up Rick. Still a phenomenal deal. Any chance we'll see a trigger+TacOps+sights package in the future?
  5. A few years ago we were one of the first sites to bring you the Battle Arms Development Ambi Safety Selector. While BAD Inc has expanded upon the design several times over, one of the original founders left to make his own path in the AR and SCAR world. Today I bring you Forward Controls Design. http://forwardcontrolsdesign.com/ FCD has brought about a sense of grace and style, while adding a bit better function and ergonomics to a 60 year old design. Parts and features that were once ignored by other, larger companies, are now being addressed by FCD and beautifully executed. FCD first brought to us their redesigned Forward Assist (LDFA and LDFA-Ti) and enhanced Magazine release buttons (EMR and EMR-C). These were simple replacements that expanded on features the original design lacked. Aside from extremely attractive cosmetics, and meticulous precise machining, they also functioned extremely well. I recently got word from The Man himself.... The next generation of product is now available! The Augmented Bolt Catch/Release is now available for the AR15 series rifles and pistols. The enhancement of this product is nothing new. We've all come to hate the design of the original paddle catch/release. Many of us going through several variations of replacements, looking for that appropriate fit, without losing the training that we embedded into our shooting. While this current model is not intended for the .308AR type rifle (your results may vary... good luck!) there is talk about getting started on production to accommodate the larger format rifle. So how much different is it??? I don't know if I could explain it any better myself. More surface/real estate = better control and function.... All without sacrificing additional "snagging" on gear and environment. I don't know how many of you are using the Norgon or Troy ambi mag release, but this is part of the answer you were looking for. Gloves on, or bare handed, no more guessing where that finger is. Find it, recognize it, and engage it. It's that simple. You guys know me. I don't just talk about this shiit.... I use it! I'm installing two of these post haste. I will use one plain vanilla and the other with a Tactical Link "Enhanced Battery Assist Lever" attached to it. I have a few different uppers I'll check clearances on as well... Billet, forged and caste! Check them out. Drop our name if/when you order. I didn't lie to you about the BAD-ASS... I didn't lie to you about the TacOps-1... http://forwardcontrolsdesign.com/ Stay tuned... more to come!!!
  6. I agree here. The R25 has historically been a camo DPMS without a muzzle device. The barrels usually have a more stereotypical tapered contour. They were usually lighter weight.
  7. I have my butcher add pig fat to all my sausage, except birds. I try to slay a shiit ton of ducks and use their fat for a mixed bird cased sausage.
  8. I had 20 lbs of summer sausage and another 20 lbs of breakfast sausage out of my last black. I got 88 lbs out of her total. Sausage and ground/burger is the only way I can take bear. I had ZERO love for the steaks.
  9. Mmmmmm bear sausage
  10. Cyber stalking ex's can do that.... even if it's to see how fat they got! I do it all the time!!!
  11. We now have TWO Facebook pages. One is our official page... the other "closed" group is our shiit talking page. The official group will have announcements and advertisers promotions. It will be home to all sorts of prime information. If we host a deal or an event, it will likely only be posted here. The second "UNofficial" group will be full of virtual diarrhea. A place for you miscreants to blabber on and on about whatever dafuq you want. It's closed for YOUR protection.
  12. Done.... Look for it https://www.facebook.com/groups/439061179610821/
  13. We put one on the .338lm to pair with the 5-25x glass on top. Makes for very fast sub-100 engagements. JP makes a nice offset iron set. Surely less likely to snag that normal irons. I'm hoping to get a Leupold deltapoint-pro... if they ever hit the market.
  14. I really thought someone would've made a .22lr by now. I would love love love a pistol like this in .22lr Still a GREAT review! Awesome score.
  15. It turns out that Sketch's profile pic is stinking up the place, and soiled the forum.
  16. Someone try it now. I think I figured it out.
  17. Thanks Jim. Life is such a delicate balance of pleasure and care. Too much of either and you lapse on unrecoverable time for the other. Cherish the time you have, and never forget the big three F's always come first; Family, Friends and Faith. Fuckin, Fuckin and Fuckin works too.... but you better work a sandwich and a tall glass of water somewhere in the middle. Guys your age weren't made to run like Jack rabbits for that long. Lol.
  18. Check out the Bobro BUIS. I think they win for lowest profile.

    KIDD 1022

    I have a Bushnell .22lr 3-9x. It cost me about $150 with a mount.
  20. My favor is often paid for by my friends in the form of magazines. A wise man once said, "lead and brass will be the currency of the future, and mags will be the wallets we carry them in." I have uncountable AR15 mags, aluminum, steel and Magpul, all loaded and packed up in ammo cans. I have a sizable stash of .308 mags as well... but keeping them loaded is a bit more costly. I am not bias to any mags. One can never have enough. All shapes, sizes, colors and material.

    KIDD 1022

You need a long barrel 10/22 Charger

    KIDD 1022

Is that my old Kidd barrel?
  23. That's smokin hawt! I hope you carry it for a while. I'm available for adoption, just sayin.
