  1. Cmmg has far too many qc issues for many of to support them. While their "good" barrels get great reviews, there are way to many with problems to give them a thumbs up. There's a ton of info on that here somewhere.
  2. Ouch that's cold. Dibs on the R34 and Silvia
  3. I think your in the right frame of mind. I like your range in price and magnification.
  4. That's a picture from an aftermarket company, and too think I would've left it
  5. As is said by a wise silverback atop a misty mountain: "Don't complicate shit with complicated shit"
  6. That is what we are finding out. Their previous claims of compatibility have been disproven when they started selling product to the public, who then figured it out for them. I'd stay away for now.
  7. I was going to dip then clear
  8. I was thinking something along the same lines. For my sbr I had tossed around the idea of Mandrake Kryptek, still not sure
  9. But do you think it's better?
  10. You can get a matte cerakote, gtg
  11. He has been schooled in the ways of the ancient masters
  12. Still waiting for my stamp... So jealous
  13. Hey Russ, welcome from western mass. I plan on sending you a pm, more than willing to help out first hand!
  14. I live 15 min from there, friends wife used to work there, left in good terms. I can look into it.
  15. What Farkle said. Unless you're running a complete PSA build, it isn't worth the trouble
  16. Pure badassery, and definitely not for me! The x-country stuff at the end (minus the flip), but none of the single trail, no thanks!
  17. Prices aren't going anywhere. For at least a good 6-8 months we have seen things return to a normal state. I don't foresee things changing much from where they are
  18. It seems ok, it's lower than the retail on their web site. Btw, the only ar10 is made by Armalite. Everything else is a 308 AR. As far as prices being inflated, no, there are some reasonably priced 308 AR'S to be had. The SASS by DPMS is one of their pricier variants. You can get into one for around a grand, but I would imagine that you'll be spending money to upgrade it to your liking. Btw, there are several out their for much more money, and just like an ar15, you buy what you feel comfortable with. Ar15's can get up there too, if you wanted one.
  19. Lol. You get a wow.
  20. Me too, me too... Sigh
  21. It is. It's sweet. Finally litre bike wars are back! Prices released for H2 and H2R. 25k and 62.5k
  22. That's what I'm thinking!
  23. I say yes. Welcome. I use heavy buffers in all mine, from heavybuffers.com. Also, one of the best upgrades is usually made at the trigger. I prefer Giessele, pricey but oh so nice. My preferences, but I think you'll find I'm not alone here. And now, neither are you, welcome to poverty!
  24. Welcome, first of all. I think your estimate of $100 a year is way low for ammo, especially if you plan on doing 3gun. I will second Giessele, I have several in different variations. You may do fine with your rifle, but I think as you go along, there will be changed you will want to make to lighten it for competition. Read up, have fun and enjoy your stay here
