  1. That Ridgid box I linked is $245 right now, regularly $289. Ask home depot for a MIL discount. Gain another 10%. I can fit two 18-year old boys in mine, if I stomp 'em down. One fits in there with room to move around... <lmao>
  2. If you're hungry enough, anything is edible... <lmao> Check it, brother... http://www.cajuncookingrecipes.com/wildgamerecipes/wild_game_recipes_beaver_recipes.htm
  3. Unpossible.
  4. For an epoxy, try this $hit. You can't break it with a hammer. You squirt it around a bolt, and you can thread the bolt out - and still can't break it with a hammer. When I need to attach something, forever, I use this stuff. It takes an expensive gun, though...
  5. Just store your ammo in the bottom of it - that adds alot of weight, FAST. Everything secured in one location. Chain it off after that, and it's one of those targets that they'll pass up to move on to other, easier things.
  6. Y'all thought I was kidding about this stuff, didn't ya? See some recent news: http://www.foxnews.com/science/2014/06/17/beaver-viciously-attacks-kayaker/?intcmp=obnetwork Not gonna happen to me. Not ever. :bat: :yup: "It's absolutely first of a kind," says the paddling center's owner, adding that "the beaver was upset for some reason, we don't know." Ah, no it's not, buddy. Not the "first of it's kind." You need to hang out with me for some time... I KNOW why the beaver was upset - because that's the way they are, and they'll try to kill you if they have the chance...
  7. I'm 100% with him on this. Here's a badass one, and it's on sale for $245 from your local Home Depot. They'll even drop it at your house. http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-48-in-x-24-in-Storage-Chest-2048-OS/100130283?N=5yc1vZc27g When it's locked, no tweakers are getting into it. It weighs 149lbs by itself, so there aren't any 3 tweakers that are gonna carry it off - empty. Load it up with weights, and guns, lock it up, rest easy. <thumbsup> They make a 60" one that's on sale now, too. It weighs 225 empty...
  8. ...And more pins and a mag release button... <thumbsup>
  9. Was it converted? To the newer sight system?
  10. With my frustration over cutting out military primer crimps, I picked up this little beast today. PRIMER POCKET SWAGER TOOL-2 Just tested out 100 pieces of unfinished 300BLK brass with it - I should have been doing this the whole time. It does a great job, and it's FAST compared to cutting.
  11. For the most part, we disappointed you. With real information, this time... <lmao>
  12. I got those 110 new pieces of 300BLK brass trimmed to 1.363", and cut out the primer swages. Lake City brass is the hardest $hit to cut out, too. Got them all tumbled again and just finished priming them. Gonna go load them up in a few. Using 16.1gr H110 with Hornady 150-gr SSTs on top this time.
  13. Damn good info, and Welcome Aboard, Moe! <thumbsup>
  14. So, basically, you didn't know what you were talking about, but you just felt that you had to say something... <dontknow>

    Grilling

Good. Bring her in. I need someone here that's in the same boat as me... <lmao>
  16. I'm not the one looking for it - you are. I hope you didn't forget or miss that - that you are the one that brought decibel testing into this conversation...
  17. The original Mega Monolithic wasn't that popular with the tubegun/spacegun folks - just wondering why you think this one would be?
  18. Then, why don't you drive out to NorCal and assist/supervise the operation?
  19. Wouldn't really matter if the meter is good at measuring transient sounds or not - as long as the same meter was used on all the devices.
  20. I can just unmount the one on my 300BLK. Dawn Marie's is pinned. The other one is on the Ruger GSR, and it's a bitch taking that thing out of the stock and putting it in a vise. My 300BLK will get stripped. <thumbsup>
  21. Go to Basic Training, and you'll get more than you ever wanted to know. You don't swing it like a club.
  22. There's a few of us here that know the true form of bayonet fighting. Nothing beats the buttstroke/slash of a good rifle! "BUTTSTROKE SERIES TO THE HEAAAAAAAAD!!! EXECUTE!!!"
  23. Load it and shoot it - next time you pull the trigger on it, it will fire-form to the chamber anyway. Blow that dent right out. It's hitting the brass deflector, and it's normal.
  24. M118LR is loaded the same as other loads - not sure what's going on with your barrel, there. M118LR is still loaded to max mag length.
