  1. You need sack like this to ride that beast properly... Unfortunately, that ain't me! That bike scares the living schit outta me. Grass, bro! I'm making grass in Phx, man - that ain't easy!
  2. Get in the garage, find your helmet and boots, clean the carb & change the oil in your bike or quad, and GET READY!!! Time to hit the sand, biotches!!!
  3. The theft is much, much worse than previously reported... "According to State Department and military sources, dozens of highly armored vehicles called GMV's, provided by the United States, are now missing. The vehicles feature GPS navigation as well as various sets of weapon mounts and can be outfitted with smoke-grenade launchers. U.S. Special Forces undergo significant training to operate these vehicles. Fox News is told the vehicles provided to the Libyans are now gone. Along with the GMV's, hundreds of weapons are now missing, including roughly 100 Glock pistols and more than 100 M4 rifles. More disturbing, according to the sources, is that it seems almost every set of night-vision goggles has also been taken. This is advanced technology that gives very few war fighters an advantage on the battlefield. " The whole article is here: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/09/25/theft-us-weapons-in-libya-involved-hundreds-guns-sources-say/
  4. They're NO fun to deal with. :-[ They're as bas as the EPA - does OSHA have an armed contingent/force now? Wouldn't surprise me...
  5. MI did a very good job with that one. <thumbsup> As far as discounts with MI, if you're MIL or LEO, contact Troy @ MI for special pricing.
  6. Brother, uppers are easy - you'd be surprised. You should give it a whirl. <thumbsup>
  7. 9mm is HELL to find right now. And it'll probably be HELL to find if this stuff ever happens again. I'm just sayin'...
  8. The other difference, besides the two you already listed - the Tactical is already milled for the RMR, and has a cap screwed down into place to cover the milled area.
  9. Too bad The King cut it's development and funding. What we have in the inventory is all we'll ever get.
  10. Sheeit, you won't even see the front sight post at 3x. Sometimes 2x, depending on the scope. To add to what Rob said, with magnified optics, the scope's field of view is already way beyond the front of the rifle, where that front sight post is mounted. The scope is already focusing way beyond that distance, which is why it's not even picked up in your vision.
  11. 16 hits is damn impressive! <thumbsup>
  12. Makes all the sense in the world, brother. That's also damn cool!!!

    Grip Porn

    :threadjack: <lmao>
  14. Google maps says it's less than a 6-mile commute, at 17 minutes. I'm damn glad they moved from a proven Gun-Unfriendly state, to a Pro 2A state. Many kudos to LMT for this. <thumbsup>
  15. Everything in the US inventory from a 106mm recoilless rifle, on down. Plus, a foreign weapons instructor, so a lot of foreign weapons junk. You need to be a MAN to shoot a 106 once. You need to be a REAL MAN to shoot the thing TWICE. The damn thing has a .50 cal mounted to the side of it for a "spotting rifle." It rattles you to the very core, when you "push." Those that have shot it will know what I'm talking about. I'd be interested in this story, because all the US Gustavs are 90mm (the M67). I'd like to know how you got your hands on the 84mm foreign version. There aren't many around. I've shot the SCHIT out of the 90mm version.
  16. Brother Drew, I've been using this lately. It's working very, very well. <thumbsup> >:D
  17. Not only shotgun, as Jon said already - Mossy makes a lot of rifle barrels for other companies, too. All the "base model" barrels on the Zel Custom AR large caliber bolt uppers are Mossberg barrels, since that company started making those uppers. Mossy makes a good rifle barrel - bet the thing shoots very well. <thumbsup>
  18. Just polishing surfaces won't lighten trigger pull, but it may seem like it once it feels "smoother." Changing engagement angles with change trigger pull weights. Or ruin a trigger.

    Ammo?

Possibly. Leave the CWS shell in there (it weighs almost nothing), but pull the weights out of it, whichever you're using (the steel or the tungsten). Shoot it with the heavy buffer and just the shell, and let me know how it goes. <thumbsup>
  20. Amen, Ron, Amen...
  21. Nah - He needs some Tom-Time. I'll fix him. After 3 or 4 days, he won't even go back to CT. >:D I can handle this one. <thumbsup>
  22. I'd put an inanimate object in a sock and beat their ass with it. I'm just sayin'. There's no sense in that. Over that much time.
  23. Not understanding how you took a huge loss, with great news like you've received... <dontknow>
  24. Barrett MRAD, brother, the MRAD... <thumbsup>
