  1. We fcuked up Ron's thread. Again. :threadjack: <laughs>
  2. Troy's 13.8" rails (MRF or TRX) just cover a micro gas block on a rifle-length gas system, man. Perfect.
  3. Greg, MP5 is a damn 9mm, brother. Done. I can build you a 9mm AR, bro. Stop having night sweats here...
  4. Yeah, duct-taped up in the back of a panel van...
  5. Little Woman from DC says that PG County ain't "hood." That schit is ghetto, with high murder rates, schit-ton of car jackings, everything bad that happens in MD happens in PG County. You need to get out while you still can. I'm just sayin'. I have room here. <thumbsup> She also says, "He was in PG County, and it was too far away for us? That schit is just across the bridge..." Now she's mad at you, bro... <dontknow>
  6. 18" barrel and the Troy 13.8" rail look fine together. Trust me, it's not too much rail. MRF-308 rail (13.8") and a Fulton 18.5" barrel. Works great...
  7. That schit wouldn't have gone down like that if I was there for the visit. I'm just sayin'... <dontknow> <lmao> Were they 10 lowers, or 15 lowers?...
  8. Yeah, MD is kinda far away. You know - and I've said it before... MOVE, brother, MOVE!!!... :fawkdance: <lmao>
  9. HOLY SCHIT!!! Horsepower makes me horny... <hump> <laughs>
  10. That's such bullschit... <laughs> Welcome aboard, man.
  11. Sunday morning (not TOO early) at the CG range. Shoot me a call tomorrow and we'll figure it out. Need to re-zero two scopes (removed and remounted the bastages), and I want to shoot the AR45 more. <thumbsup> Little woman needs CRAVES more trigger time on the XDs, too. :))
  12. Stack quarters, dude. Make your own spacer with quarters, down the receiver extension. Then put in the spring, and buffer. It's a common thing when building a 9mm AR, to keep the bolt carrier from over-travelling, which in turn breaks bolt catches. On a 9mm AR, using a carbine-length buffer, it take $1.75 to get the job done. 7 quarters, which equal about 0.470". If you need 3/8" of space taken up (0.375"),then stack up $1.25 (0.334"), or $1.50 (0.400"), and check the bolt carrier travel and the bolt catch operation.
  13. Right down the road, in Maricopa, man. I'm shooting Sunday, if you want to go - weather.com says the high is supposed to be 87, and overcast. Perfect. <thumbsup>
  14. Hell yeah, brother - that's from the NM trigger. I know I praise the G triggers all the time, but I've got one Armalite NM trigger, and it's a keeper. Damn good trigger, with the adjustable spring on the disconnector (which has been tweaked some more). Almost every single spring I have in that silly, heavy box is an Armalite spring, too. It's all I build with. <thumbsup>
  15. What's your barrel length?
  16. Pat, didn't want to go through the pain of finding that pic, so I got a few more. I like your box layout better than mine, but they didn't have anything like yours when I was shopping. That's a good one that you found. Here's my junk...
  17. Those are fantastic! I run a similar one from Plano for all my spare parts, tools, and a general range-trip armorer's toolbox. There's a pic of the thing somewhere on this board, but I'll be damned if I can find it...
  18. Haven't had this issue with the XDs-45 so far. I will say - if you limp-wrist it, it won't fully cycle 100% of the time. However, if you hold it like a man, it runs like a champ. I'm definitely not saying that is the issue reported with the XDs-9, here. That looks like an ammo issue more than anything else.
  19. They've got some work to do. They need to clean this up kinda quick-like. This is not a good direction for them. One of the comments that was posted under the second story was something like, "They need to fire the person that's hiring these people..." I can agree with that one, for sure.
  20. ^^^ Good stuff. <thumbsup> :happydrunks:
  21. Damn, double-tap. I like the barrel so much that I posted it twice... <lmao>
  22. I've been a big fan of that exact barrel for many years now. Fantastic barrel. <thumbsup>
  23. So, it's like comparing Apples to Hammers... <laughs>
  24. No joke - Amazon is eating him up these days... <laughs> I was laughing pretty damned hard... <thumbsup>
  25. ZEL Custom does this exact thing. http://www.tactilite.com/ 50 BMG, .416 Barrett, .408 Chey Tac, and .338 LM.
