You'll be amazed to find out that all - ALL - .308 AR lower receivers are milled. None - I mean, NONE - are forged, unless you're building your own from an 80% lower forging. Everything you find that's complete is milled. They just don't forge .308 ARs. This isn't AR-15-land.

There's a technique where you use the back of your right hand (pinky side, like the heel of your hand) to hold that charger back (from the top), while you load that CLIP. Yes, that one IS a clip, not a "magazine." :)) You don't release that right hand until that sheit clicks into place, then LET IT FLY!

You really have to match the gas port size and gas system length to the barrel length on the 300BLK. That one, cut down, would probable require some "experimentation."

It is a 30-06, unless it's been converted. I just listed the other American Eagle ammo that I like, and use in the .308 Win rifles, both bolt and AR. <thumbsup>
