Here's what she looks like all cleaned up, but NEKKID! ;D This thing is such a perfect all-around duner. Love it. Rene, watch this vid, brother. This might make your shoulder hurt even more... Click it to hit it - this was last year at T-day. My kid (knucklehead) was filming, and DNP was right there, too. By the way, that sweet 250R came from DNP in the first place - it has a special place in his heart, too. <thumbsup>

Sorry, brother, BIG time. I'm stoked for that shoot, too - first time in the Tucson area for an Appleseed. I'm pissed at work, but I gotta do it... >:(
-
It is the diesel - Hayes Diversified was the only company that made them, and that's all they did - they're listed as the manufacturer in that listing. Someone that made the listing/posting for auction just doesn't know what they're talking about... <thumbsup> Barstow ain't far, either. <dontknow> ;D

Done. You know how I always camp about a hundred yards out - bringing friends this year, but friends that , at least, Anthony knows. A kid I used to race with, but he's not a kid anymore. I talked his dad into buying a badass 250R, so he's bringing that with - completely converted now. <laughs> They'll be doing the whole week with us. <thumbsup> Right now, I'm Wednesday-to-Tuesday, so I should be out there sometime Wednesday night. Got the parts in there tonight, after work:

Dont't worry, Magwa - he just has to wear the slippers whilst shooting this: The $10s are the "in bet" that goes in the pot, for each shoot we do - winner takes the other's money... ;D <thumbsup>

There's NO way to shovel enough to get out of this thread... <dontknow> <lmao> Commitment is commitment, and it's way too late now... ;D

Ah, it wouldn't matter if it was in your hands 18-bajillion weeks ago... :o
-
Sad as it is, it's REALLY gonna suck for you to be wearing Pink Bunny Slippers and Ears, WHILST forking over $10 bills. That HAS to be weighing HEAVILY on your mind... <lmao> <laughs> I don't think I could take the mental torture of such a dual-faced defeat... <dontknow> <laughs> This isn't "Ones," like strippers, brother, this is the big fat TENS that you'll be giving away... <munch> GIVING away... <lmao>

Biden was an ass, and was talkin' out of his ass. I hope there were a metric poop-ton of Americans watching that debate, but I doubt it. Our citizens are weak, and don't give one rat's ass... It's sad... :'(

Shooting these from a bolt gun, or the RRA Semi's, brother?! If it's from the semi's, how the hell are you gonna get them to mag-length? <dontknow>
-
Yup. >:D PLenty of fun, firearms ARE involved, with much more activities, so it goes in this category - firearms related started it all. <thumbsup> In the next few weeks, there's gonna be pictures (that some don't want posted), stories told (that some don't want told), and things done (that nobody wants to talk about). It comes out here... <lmao> If there's some shooting prowess that's talked about, pics will - WILL - be posted. <nutkick> If there's some kind of crazy bar story told - pics (if at all possible, depending on Local LEO intervention...) WILL be posted. :binkybaby: If there's a motorcycle ride done, pics of scenery, local attributes, local attrocities, etc... :2nd: WILL be posted. If any one of the members of this Southwest Get-Together get out of hand, in any way or manner - pics WILL be posted... :stfu2: I'm just sayin'... I'm on the left, Greg is on the right, Rob is in the middle, below: :ecs: Starts 19 Oct 2012... <munch> Updates depend on sobriety. <dontknow>

Better check this out, if you missed the VP Debate: Pretty funny, right?... :cookoo:
-
I don't even think it's funny, with the position we're in right now. I know we're completly fucked if Buck Ofama gets re-elected. What branch are you in?

...is not limited to firearms... :o :cookoo: I'm a sucker for things that are nice, nice looking, well made, and work better than "OEM." Straight sucker for it. I think the last three bikes I've bought have lasted (the longest) one week, bone-stock. They get modified. Part of that is the power freak in me, but alot of it is just the constant quest to make OEM "better..." Just picked up some nice stuff for another habit that I have, which is the bikes/race quads. Now, logical reasoning brought me to this purchase decision, but it got outta control in very short order. <dontknow> Restored/rebuilt a 1986 Honda TRX-250R back in 2008. I haven't had the engine apart since then, still holding up. I replaced EVERYTHING that was a wear-item on that thing, when I went through it. Cables, seals, bearings, gaskets, cooling lines, worn trans gears, shift forks, everything. Went with an upgraded ignition computer and ignition coil, but carry the OEM spares in my Camel-Bak when I ride. If there was any wear, it was replaced. Now, looming on the horizon is my annual Thanksgiving trip to the sand dunes on southern Cali. My clutch was new in '08. I've been through two clutch cables during this time, but this will be the 5th year (trip-wise) on the clutch fibers, steels, and springs... What if I blow it out this time? I carry a spare clutch kit anyway, but changing it out is a pain in the ass, with the waterpump in the front of the clutch cover housing. Aha! I need an aftermarket quick-change clutch cover! ;D Very few companies doing this anymore, because it was a modification to the stock clutch cover in the past, from a few performance companies - keep in mind, this is a 1986 quad, and it's entire production run went from 1986 to 1989. One aftermarket company has started casting their own clutch-side cases, with a quick-change cover built in. Cheaper than what the old companies used to charge for the mod. I called them up, talked to them, got it on order - with more... The order kept growing and growing, and I finally had to hang up. :o Brand new manufacture clutch-side cover, with billet quick-change cover, billet waterpump cover, billet stator cover (other side of the engine), billet shift and billet brake pedal... Dayum. I'll get all the parts on tomorrow, in the shop, and get more pics up after that. <thumbsup> Parts: Going on:

Wow. Just wow. VP Debate. Biden is a flaming asshat jackass, pompous, arrogant, disrespectful, condescending piece of shat. I've never seen anything so unprofessional, from someone who should be so professional. Smokin' Joe was a Flaming Arsehole...

I'd say, just get the Armalite spring and run it. Just make sure it's the AR-10 spring. <thumbsup>

Not new news, man. http://308ar.com/forum/general-discussion/3d-gun/msg38892/#msg38892

Much, much more effective than "drinking kool-aid." <lmao> I'm up for it. Just because there's one in every rifle now doesn't mean I won't be calling for purchases - I'm gonna start playing around now with some of them. You'll definitely hear from me soon again, Roger. <thumbsup>

LR308 upper w/sight problems

A replacement front sight post isn't gonna fix a canted sight base. Don't think that is what you should chase, here. Get some pics up, of the sight alignment (rear/front), if possible... -
LR308 upper w/sight problems

Sound like the original front sight base was canted, and someone tried to put it in a vise and "un-twist" it. Since you're running the A2 front sight base, just pick up the Armalite clamp-on A2 front sight base, and mount that. You can adjust/straighten that thing later when you need to. I'm running that one on two different rifles now, just for the fact that "it's all me" when setting it up. <thumbsup> -
<nutkick> Fucker has a YJ... :o You and I need to talk. Face to face. I've been building those since about 1993. Mine will whoop yours - but you can build, and try to beat it. <laughs> <thumbsup>

Just like "Beer Equilibrium..." Beer in, beer out. That magic point... <lmao> I have FINALLY been lucky enough to hit the BAD ASS Equilibrium Point in my "fortification." One BAD ASS per AR. Done. I've been battling this addiction since my first BAD ASS somewhere around May 2010 - installed the first one, and KNEW that every single one would have to get this lever setup. Problem was, I was building ARs faster than I could keep up with calling Roger... :o Today, I finally hit that "sweet spot." <thumbsup> Every single AR-type that I have now has a BAD ASS installed, and I have one spare for the toolbox. For me, that's a major accomplishment. :o Roger, there will never be a way that I can thank you enough. :hethan:

'Bout a week a a half now, I'll have you for about a week. What transpires may just wipe out your elections plans. I know for a fact that there will be imagery off all events, and probably footage. I'm just sayin'... <laughs> <lmao>

Oh, Snap! <laughs> Don't tell me drives a Subaru, or something like that... <dontknow> :cookoo:

It's on this Rem 700, brother. <thumbsup> That is one BAD ASS rifle. ;D http://308ar.com/forum/battle-arms-development/battle-arms-develpment-bad-dbm/
