Here they are, man - there's really no mention of who is doing brakes for them, or if they're doing them in-house. However, there is a BIG price difference between their "standard" brake and their "Tank Brake" - a $300 difference. If I had the money, I'd purchase two identical .50 uppers, with the only difference being the brakes, and find out what's up between those two. Heeling, and Recoil Anticipation - those are very different, brother. <thumbsup> To see if you're heeling, check your grip tension with your firing hand... With only the firing hand grip the pistol and sight on a target (unloaded pistol, of course ;D). Tighten your grip with your firing hand right up until you see your sights start shaking... Loosen the grip slowly, until the sights stop shaking, and become stable - this is the perfect grip tension with your firing hand. With that, there will be no heeling at all.

This part is going to be crucial, for a .50 cal bolt gun. I'd check out what the guys at ZEL Custom are spec'ing out on their uppers, and follow something along those lines - it would at least have to be something similar, and it will definitely have to be a brake, over something like a comp, or flash suppressor, or combination thereof... <thumbsup>

Nope, not yet, man. It takes a few hundred rounds to break in a semi-auto. Seems like the bigger the semi-auto, the more rounds it takes to break it in, too. It's kinda painful to see threads started, where guys are talking about problems with their gas gun, then see them say they have 50 rounds through it - it takes more than that to get everything "meshing" together. <<< No ding on you with that statement, just saying that it's brought up alot. Like the manufacturer said - get a couple hundred through it and see what it's doing after that. <thumbsup>

Hey, brother, that's not what I was getting at - not that this was some kind of Gov setup, or anything like that. What I was referring to was the timing of this event, and the fact that the UN ATT was going on through Friday. The fact that is happened at midnight on a Thursday night means that all those assholes that are "delegates and decision-makers" at that damn treaty have just been given the "gift" of emphasizing arms control over citizens for a full day. Politics. Those dickweeds can use those sad families in a way that would benefit nobody - but themselves. I wish I was a fly on the wall in that meeting all day Friday, just to hear the bullpoopy that was spewed by those agenda-seeking jackasses. More than being there and hearing it all, I'd have liked to been given the opportunity/permission to shout "bullpoopy!!!" at the top of my lungs, everytime they brought it up as an example. As far as this current administration, and it's agenda, I trust them not in the least. They created Gunwalker, authorized Gunwalker, and implemented Gunwalker. You match the buffer and spring to the stock system, not the gas system on the barrel. In your case, with the UBR, you need "carbine" parts - shorter buffer and spring, for a collapsible stock (and for a 308 AR - not AR-15 parts). Rifle buttstock parts are not gonna work with the UBR.
