  1. I'm not really worried about that - been on a two-way range several times... <thumbsup> :hunter:
  2. You're good, brother. <thumbsup>
  3. Probably am. My point is about that misleading statement, though - This isn't the first EOTech made for someone else, but that statement makes it seem that way. <dontknow>
  4. Her firing hand grip needs work. Just sayin'.
  5. :sign10:
  6. No luck picking any of this podwer up at Cabela's last weekend. It wasn't on the shelves there yet. I asked them about it, and they're looking into it for stocking.
  7. Forgot an additional piece of gear, that doesn't come with any reloading setup - case tumbler.
  8. I concur on this one - love it. You'll want to add a case trimmer to that kit (doesn't come with one), and a chamfer/deburring tool, as well as a full length sizing die set for .308 Win (doesn't come with any dies). RCBS Shellholder #3 is what you'll need for .308, as that doesn't come with a die set. With that kit (and what's listed), plus powder and primers, you'll be able to reload. You'll want extras, down the road. You might want to upgrade from a manual case trimmer to an electric one, same with the powder measure. With those upgrades, you'd be faster and less "tired," but even without them you'll be able to reload.
  9. When I lived in Virginia, I found a local guy there for gear. He was primarily a mail order operation, and didn't have many walk-in customers. Right when the Big Pmags came out, he was advertising them. I called him up and asked if I could come pick them up instead of him shipping them to me, since I was so close. He welcomed it. I went up there to pick up 6 Big Pmags from him, and spent damn near the whole day there talking to him - what a fantastic person, and a true one-man operation. Cool as hell. Since I was local, and he didn't do walk-in too much, he gave me a SCREAMIN deal, too. ;D He still lists them for a flat $18.00 on his website. He's primarily a knife guy, so he doesn't make the bulk of his money from gun parts, and they're a little cheaper that way. Matt D Tactical. I love to "support the supporters," but I really believe in the Little Guy sometimes - Matt D is one of the good ones. <thumbsup> Worth a look: http://www.mattdtactical.com/MAGPUL-MAG243-PMAG-762-BLACK-20-ROUND_p_999.html
  10. I would definitely take them up on this offer, and call. Looks like DPMS, but the length of that lower might be deceiving, with the milling going on there. Might be RRA-compatible. <dontknow> Hit them up:
  11. The Battle Mug will be my next major self-indulgence product. <thumbsup> http://www.battlemug.com/
  12. Fire off any acronym questions as they appear, man - just quote it right in the thread and ask about it. Someone will jump in and answer what it is. <thumbsup>
  13. Only if you're directly to the left or right of the firer... <lmao>
  14. If you make a Recoilless Toilet, I'm in... <laughs>
  15. Exactly. In 1986 or 1987, I was shooting at the Fort Ord Rod and Gun Club. Prices for the HK 93 at the time were $600-ish, and you didn't pay tax there. Well, I was an Army Private, and that was almost a whole monthly paycheck. Didn't do it. I got back to Fort Ord in 1989, and the price had jumped to $1200-ish. I left Fort in 1991, and the price by then was over $1800. :o Shoulda bought the damn thing with that monthly paycheck, not driven the car for a month, and eaten every meal in the mess hall. Stupid for not buying it then... :-[
  16. Not trying to discourage you in any way, but that's another company name for Vulcan/Hesse/Blackthorne. Expect problems, down the road, seriously. You'll also never get any kind of company assistance for anything, when issues crop up. Just trying to forewarn you. https://www.google.com/#sclient=psy-ab&hl=en&source=hp&q=Vulcan+Hesse+Blackthorne&pbx=1&oq=Vulcan+Hesse+Blackthorne&aq=f&aqi=g-v1&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=73304l73304l1l74205l1l0l0l1l1l0l0l0ll1l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&fp=4c3fe1a9859f48e4&biw=1280&bih=717
