  1. I figured this was definitely better suited in this forum now. <thumbsup>
  2. This topic has been moved to Battle Arms Development. [iurl]http://308ar.com/forum/index.php?topic=391.0[/iurl]
  3. Man, the Super 3 Gun trigger is SWEEEEET!!! <thumbsup> I've been smoked at work, Roger, and I still owe you a phonecall. That will happen tomorrow. :-[
  4. Man, I love Alaska! Welcome aboard. <thumbsup> In reasearch for your upper, if you're building that from parts, be very careful of "upper receiver heights" when searching DPMS-specific parts. If you plan on building a DPMS flat-top upper receiver up, then just go ahead and get the stripped upper from Fulton Armory. Trust me on this. <dontknow>
  5. Blindsided, completely. :o It's alright, though, because I'll send 1/2 of them to you. "Karma..." <lmao>
  6. That's a pretty fun sickness to have, though. <laughs> Both are fine looking. I like the taste in bipods. <thumbsup>
  7. Big Bonuses, and more firearms! <laughs>
  8. That's so wrong, on so many levels... :o <laughs>
  9. I had to implement my E&R Plan with that one - I'm still trying to hide... :o
  10. I had most of that back in my previous location - she sure as hell wasn't mute, though... <dontknow>
  11. I'm gonna need another job just to (1) afford this rifle, and (2) afford the ammo - even if I'm reloading. I'm thinking something like this might pay the bills for it... <laughs>
  12. I thought that whole thing was a compliment. Something with the Revolutionary War. <dontknow> NOW I know... <laughs>
  13. That was a speculation on Troy's part, at best, since the MA-TEN was so new then. The giveaway on that was they didn't know if the MA-TEN used DPMS threading. It does. Taken from that thread: Me: Would you happen to know if the MRF-308 will work on a Mega MA-10? Would the to rail on the MRF and the top rail on the upper receiver line up? Troy: The MRF .308 will not work with the Mega MA-10 unless the upper receiver has DPMS style threading and can accept the barrel nut that we provide. The upper receiver will also have to be the same height and have the same timing as the DPMS upper receiver. Chances are they do not have either. This handguard will not fit on the barrel nut that comes standard on the rifle. Thank you. There's no true industry standard for the .308 ARs, that's correct, but most companies are following a loose set of rules - rail heights are pretty much common, with exceptions, most dimensions are pretty much the same (FCG locations), etc. I'm not sure if anyone has actually put the MRF-308 rail on a MA-TEN yet, based on speculation. You'll need the DPMS-threaded barrel nut for the MRF-308, for sure, and I'd bet that it fits up fine.
  14. Don't even start with me tonight... <lmao>
  15. I'm quicker - Today, at least... <laughs>
  16. I'm a little bit jealous, Roger. <laughs> That's a damn nice looking piece of machinery. <thumbsup>
  17. Done, my good man. <thumbsup>
  18. They've got to be talking about the propellant here - I don't see how the actual projectile could have any affect on the gas pressure. I have read that you don't want to use this projectile suppressed (didn't learn many details, besides it not working very well suppressed).
  19. Just a note about that rail and it's barrel nut - the barrel nut has two wrench flats on it, so you can put it on and tighten it down with a large crescent wrench. <thumbsup> No special barrel nut device necessary.
  20. Damn, that is one fine looking boomstick... <thumbsup>
  21. I LOVE that trigger, too, by the way. I'm just sayin'... <lmao>
  22. Drew, you should post the whole writeup that you received from JP, if it's alright with them. That's some good info for the masses. <thumbsup>
  23. Pmag 20s and 30s, all variations, and the USGI mags that I have all drop with it. No problems. Old pics, instead of taking new ones - I'm being lazy tonight. ;D
  24. There shouldn't be any compatability issues with it. It's the exact same outer size as a standard mag release, so it'll fit anything that a standard mag release fits. Hold on for a few and I'll grab some pics... <thumbsup>
  25. I'm running the Troy MRF 13.8 rail that you ordered - you'll like it. Alot. It should match right up to the rail height on the Mega upper - it matches up with the "older" DPMS rail height on my upper perfectly. It would be off on their "new" height, though. The MA-TEN should be a perfect fit with it. Make sure that you inspect the contents of the box the rail comes in - you'll need the barrel nut that should have come with it, so make sure you look for it. <thumbsup>
