I know I get fuqd with about my flip-phone, old-skool shiit. I have a reason. Many of you close to me know that exact reason. Targetting "smart" phones started to be a part of my job, in the former life, right towards the end of that life. The tech is crazy. The mere fact that I could turn your cell phone against you, in Oct 2000, is just crazy. I couldn't even turn the equipment ON - INSIDE the borders of the Continental United States. I had to find a deployment to another country, devise a training plan - just to power this shiit up, and run it. By the time 9/11 came around, there were full deployments of this stuff, the full training complete in every Group - we were ahead of it, then. The tech, then, was so powerful, just mind-boggling. More systems came out, different capabilities, different goals and objectives. Where I was, then, was a proving ground of "does it work"... And it did... Your gas port is undersized, or your gas system is completely out of spec. Like Rex stated above - we have nothing to go on, with the lack of details. You said that you built this gun - we need the parts breakdown, in order to CSI something like this over the internet, working with typed words. Here's the level of detail needed: P.S. the take up on the trigger (taking out the slack, hitting the firing wall), completely disengages the striker safety. Proven right here. That shouldn't happen. This is just Issue #1 with this gun - this has absolutely NOTHING to do with manipulating the slide side-to-side, and setting it off on it's own. This is simply a test of the striker safety. Only. The striker safety is COMPLETELY disengaged, just with taking up the wall, taking up the slack in the trigger. No Bueno.
