  1. Bought 2 t-shirts, to support this guy. Unreal story - very lucky to even be alive, but he was prepared. That's the only thing that got him through that.
  2. The official Cerakote color on those mags is "Pu$sy Pink..." I think they changed it to something else, once the World Got Woke... This is for Woke World... Get back in your Cry Closet, you sensitive, weakling bitches... Life WILL offend you, so brace yourselves...
  3. Gonna teach him some Proper Canadian, Eh?... Between translating for you, Matt, and Roman - for all others that are around - my hands are FULL!!!...
  4. In the old days, the biggest mag that DPMS made for the LR-308 was a 19-round mag - and those original, old mags had feedlip problems. Several people on the internet figured it out, came up with a tweak, and fixed those jacked up 19-rd mags that DPMS shipped. They magically worked after that. Now, in light of that, here, I'm wondering when your DPMS 10-rd mag was made, and if they were doing the same thing then, to the 10-rd mags that they did to the 19-rd mags. If so, you can search the interwebz and find "the fix for the DPMS 19-rd magazines" and possibly solve the issue with this 10-rounder that you've got. Worth a shot, anyway. You might be able to put that mag into the rotation, if the 19-rd fix works. If it doesn't fix it - it goes in the trashcan or sits unused - like it will right now anyway.
  5. Surplus older ammo sitting around for a very, very long time. That stuff was COOKIN'!!! That guy is so lucky... I don't shoot surplus ammo anymore - none of it. I played with some 30-06 about 10 years ago, and got rid of some of it - it was 70s era ammo. I stick with handloads in that gun now, nothing else.
  6. Aaron Lewis is one my favorite musicians, ever. So much talent. Check this one out:
  7. Since this is a first-heard for this happening to a BA barrel - you're stating that you're a Zero-tolerance person. No mistakes from a company, ever, are allowed...
  8. Indeed, and I agree. I have 7 or 8 or 10 or their barrels, not sure how many, but I've never had a single issue with any of them, ever. My .300BLK barrel was not from BA - but it was form another well-known company. ^^^ This, right here.
  9. Your call - but you're moving with info, so this isn't a bad thing.
  10. You can't do that - not here, with those parts. You can't run the Armalite AR-10 buffer in that Aero M5 receiver extension. You'll find out why soon enough. I keep trying to tell you. You keep telling me that you read the information that I posted, and directly linked in here. If you really read it, then you'd quickly understand that what you stated, and I highlighted above in RED - is an impossible combination. Which is a catch 22 for me - and means you either didn't read my information, or you didn't understand my information. It can only be one of those two possibilities.
  11. Very well aware of putting on muzzle devices. There's absolutely zero reason to do this, at all. No need to tighten/loosen/repeat - at all. Just put it on, with whatever timing device you're doing (crush washer, peel washer, shims) - you align it at the proper torque, and you're done. That process of tighten/loosen 3 times is for barrel nuts. Not muzzle devices. There usually isn't anything on it - it doesn't need it. It's supposed to be torqued to 175 FOOT POUNDS... That's pretty damn tight, and well over anything else that you'll ever need to do to that barrel. All other torque specs to a barrel are way less than that. That one just wasn't torqued right, from assembly. It happens. It happened to me. It's not common, that's for sure.

    98's 6mm ARC

That's already on my mind, brother, believe me! In the next couple weeks, it'll get some Sexual Chocolate treatment, just in case. Talked to Tommy today, and he said it was a blast to watch those guys - and there was already some massive shiit-talking going on amongst them Big plus - we'll fit right in. The dude that won the small-frame class was shooting a .224 Valk, and he missed a couple 710-yards shots before he hit it. Hmmm... That thing is no match for a 6 ARC gun. We already know this here, very personally... Me and Tommy are going out on Sunday and tuning up some distance targets, checking muzzle velocities, and checking handloads. Get ready early, do the best you can, and talk shiit no matter how it all shakes out...
  13. Also, this could never happen when installing a muzzle brake. Just taking one off. Right hand threads, both ends. If it happened installing, then it would only tighten the extension onto the barrel. Not the other way around, and break it free. That can only come from/happen with a counterclockwise motion.
  14. Barrel Index Pins don't lock the extension to the barrel - they never go deep enough to get into the threading, and they're not designed to. What keeps the barrel extension ON the barrel is 175lb/ft of torque. Not a typo. BA will have you send the barrel back, and they'll give you another one, no questions asked. Don't waste your time with the vendor, if that vendor wasn't BA directly. Yes, I had that happen once, on a 16" 300BLK barrel. I fixed it at home, and it hasn't been a problem since. Never will be, either.
  15. That's why I posted a direct link to the PRS pad - in your other thread.
  16. I can't remember if that one was 2013 or 2014. I know we were shooting in Marana for awhile, with Jon as the RangeMaster (means we could do what we wanted...), and then we moved to the Casa Grande Range sometime around those years - where we all got to meet Josh, and send him off overseas, the proper way... He needs to come out to a shoot now, at the SDTF - he'd shiit his pants at the area that we have now... Damn right!...
  17. Did you contact him? Read this: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiu1u3CvaLwAhX_CjQIHUMEC0IQFjAAegQIAxAD&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.snipershide.com%2Fshooting%2Fthreads%2Flmt-mws-barrel-conversion-sleeve.6988545%2F&usg=AOvVaw02WOPDq0aZTStSxtcsF6yW
  18. Look into MSR. Good water purification isn't cheap, but it won't get you infected, either. MSR has always made phenomenal water purification products. That's all we bought, militarily, for commercial water purif. equipment.
  19. He won't listen, Rex - he didn't listen the first time he was gifted that information. He's a GunSmith...
  20. Everything you stated in that last post of yours - that pretty much cements that you didn't understand the link I gave you before. You might have glanced over it - but you don't understand it. As a GunSmith, that should be something that you understand, when you read it.
  21. You obviously haven't done enough research here, GunSmith. You need to spend some time, look around the board, and research. Even your reference of that KynShit buffer has been referenced here before. You're just tossing out information that we've all been over here before - but you're putting in zero work to find out any information, that's all right here, right on this board. I'm not feeding you, when you won't work for food.
  22. You certainly haven't been keeping up with the information here, and that's obvious.
  23. Interesting that you never stated that you were in a gunsmithing school, when you made your introduction. Maybe you weren't in it yet. Then.
  24. I found the perfect .308 mag pouch for you, brother - but I have no idea how you're gonna strap this one on...
  25. YOU... will never be able to change this industry. Never. You can't to a thing about it, but react to it, and fix all the things that need to be done to the Large-Frame AR to make it run right. You won't make this industry adopt a singular pattern. If you COULD do that - you would make them adopt the KAC SR-25/M110 pattern. That was a pure Eugene Stoner design, while working for KAC, and it was adopted by the US Military, as THE standard. THAT is the only true "standard" out there... but you won't get other companies to go to that. Never. I already recommended the best recoil system out there. I even linked it. In the thread I linked, I explained the WHY of it all. And, I'm not even a gunsmith. Imagine that. Pass all that information on to all your AR GunSmith Instructors, and tell them to chime in if they think they have other solutions. I'd love to hear about it. I'm not being cocky - they're not Eugene Stoner, and they never will be. None of them can make this platform better than he did. I'd like to know why you're in a gunsmithing school - and your instructors can't answer your questions. Why are you here, asking questions? Your instructors don't know the answers? That's because ARs aren't 1911s. The instructors you have probably don't know anything about building, tuning, or diagnosing gas guns. If they think they do - then bring them aboard, and educate us.
