  1. UNFOLD IT ALREADY!!! GAWD DAYMIT!!!
  2. Making more baby steps. Complete gun now, minus optic. Tossed a mil-spec trigger in, that I've been working on for years. It's probably the most polished, tweaked mil-spec trigger in existence. I don't hate it, but it's not a 2.5lb/4.5lb 2-stage. But it works. Picked up a B5 Systems Bravo stock and the B5 P23 grip for it, in coyote. I've had a love affair with B5 Systems since they won the military contract over LMT for the SOPMOD stock. LMT came up with it, under .mil contract, but LMT wanted $200 for it. B5 re-won that contract, for a stock for $100. I've had that B5 SOPMOD stock on the original Mk12 Mod 0 since about 2010. B5 rocks. The B5 Bravo stock offers the same cheekweld as the SOPMOD, but without the storage (and additional pieces, and weight). Badass stock. Same with the P23 grip - same forward grip angle of a MagPul MOE K2.I dig it. Put this same grip on the 12.5" 6 ARC. It's only awaiting a scope and mount, and it's a shooter. Probably gonna do the Athlon 1~4 scope, mil-dot. Here's where it's at now. It's so close, I think I need to finish it up, grab ammo, and get it running for the Spring Shoot.
  3. There's way more to the story than that, brother. When he got on that helocopter, after learning that all his buddies were in the shiit - he was only armed with a knife. He didn't take a rifle onto that helicopter. He was nominated for an upgrade to the CMOH, but the time limit expired. That law was changed, then they couldn't find a living witness to corroborate the actions. They finally found an RTO that was there, told the story in a 22-page testimony, and that finally met the criteria for his CMOH. President Reagan gave it to him in 1981. The guy was beyond-human. Just like the Doc that you posted.

    Grilling

Forgot - pierced the loins 9 times each, down through - and stuffed garlic down each piercing...

    Grilling

Alright, this Orion Cooker is pretty badass. I broke it in last Monday with 2 racks of ribs, and it did great. I tested it tonight with potatoes and onions, two 3.5lb beef loins, and carrots. Gave the loins the 1hr salt cure, then rubbed them heavy. PLaced them in the cooker fat-side up, so it melted down through the meat. Sliced the potatoes in half, and the onion chopped into 1/8ths - potatoes and onion went into the drip pan. One beef loin 1st rack, one 2nd rack, carrots top rack. Used hickory chips between the drip pan and the inner cylinder, filled with charcoal, came back 2 hrs later and pulled it all off. I could have gone 1:50 instead of 2 - lesson learned. Meat would have been a little more on the rarer side at 1:50. It's all a learning curve with this thing. We're gonna FEAST at the Spring Shoot, that's for certain.
  6. Groups are great, but you've got some pretty heavy primer cratering going on. Ejector smears are visible - they'd be alot worse if that was a square-faced ejector, so be glad that it's a round one. You're still way up there on the load, looking at that brass. Doesn't mean anything, but if it was mine, I'd go in 0.2gr increments, and back that thing down to the next accuracy node, and stay there. What's you're COL on those? P.S I hate Federal brass, unless it's Gold Medal Match brass. All other (standard) Fed brass work-hardens pretty quick.
  7. That's a truly selfless story that ranks up there with Roy Benavidez. Unreal human character.
  8. Whoa~! WTF?! Clint McKee passed?!!?
  9. Yeah. FUKC THAT...
  10. I'll dig out pics of past events...
  11. I've done this 3 times, brother. Military-Heavy one year and Civilian two years. The full course, too, ALL years. 26.2 miles. I think everyone should experience this, once in their lifetime. The sand wash starting at 22 miles will FUK YOU UP, RIGHT TO THE END, the first time you do it. After that first year, you KNOW that shiit is coming for you, at 22... EDIT - I was itchin' for a fight last year - and it was CANCELLED for COVID. This year, I didn't even check. Figured there was no way, on the ass-end-of-the-dog of this COVID shiit. Didn't even look. Next year - if JoeBama says we're all okay to be Americans again - I'll get into this with yous guys... Let's do it. There's the full 26.2 mile course, and there's a 14-mile course. Doesn't matter which one you do - it just matters that you DO ONE. The short course just eliminates that LONGASS trip uphill, around that fucking mountain... I've been trying to get you guys to do this for years here, with me... White Sands Missile Range is no joke, for this one. But, it's a journey that you will never forget, and if you're "embracing that suckfest" with your brothers, then it's even better. Man up, brothers. Let's do this. Stop being a bunch of pussies about it. Years, I've talked this shiit. I WILL BACK IT UP. Done it for myself, numerous times. I know me - I can take it. Done took it.
  12. Did you call my gunpusher?...
  13. ^^^ THAT GUY is a fuckin BADASS.
  14. YEP!!!
  15. ^^^ I was close!!!... Blame your Reps, brother. They're the ones that are doing this to you. For real. Washington turned into a Political Wasteland, with Lib Politics, and it's all because of the Lib-Tards on the Wet-Side...
  16. That's a Seattle-thing, brother. Nothing more, right there. I don't pay that tax down here - nowhere near it. I can't believe that you're getting taxed to move homeless shelters - That's some SERIOUS LIB SEATTLE SHIIT!@ EDIT - I'm waiting for you to respond, "I DON'T LIVE IN SEATTLE!!!" and all angry as fuk about it. Yeah, YOU don't... but your elected Communists live, and vote, and work in Seattle...
  17. ^^^ TactiCat does NOT have that kind of patience with dogs... It's full-on BANG right from first sight... This is Mo Vs. Dogs, right here.
  18. That's why I reload, brother - but reloading components are equally as skeery right now. Distributors can't buy the "bulk" that they did before, and buy in singles, or small multiples - and that costs more, for them. We don't get to buy a case of 5,000 primers anymore - because even the distributors can't get a single case of 5,000 primers... So, they have to scrounge for the 1,000 boxes, here, there, at the higher price. Then pay their workers... and OUR price is up... Everyone thinks the industry is fucking us over. DEMAND is fucking us over, and the Industry is doing everything it can to even TRY to keep up with the demand... On our side, I don't blame higher prices on manufacturers, distributors, vendors (with exception - some gouging cocksuckers out there in vendor-land)... Higher prices are because of (1) the demand, and (2), factories are running 'round the clock, 3 shifts, COVID-spaced apart because of the "Deadly Pandemic"... 3 shifts now equals the production of a single 8-hour shift before all this bullshiit... I don't blame the gun industry, at all - they're all having higher costs to make product, because of all this bullshiit COVID horse-fuckery. I blame the "Fake Panic" on all this shiit, blame the cities that can't keep their people safe from looters, which leads to more people realizing that simple fact that... The police don't PREVENT crime from happening. They RESPOND to crime...
  19. I see what you did there...
  20. ^^^Exactly. Call, on the phone, and talk to a human there. They will help you out, if they can.
  21. We had him - offended everyone that was easily offended. Then, Libs found out how to cheat the election... But, I think he'll be back...
  22. Good idea - maybe the Mods can edit that pic and get rid of that part. You never know when some Joker here might send you a 3ft Purple Double-Headed Jelly Dong. Just because.
  23. Right on, man - glad it worked out!
  24. I'm just glad the math works...
