That's messed up, man...

^^^ That was in Georgia.

Not even a funny video, but an example of Extreeeeeme Stuuupid. I just can't think of any other place to put this vid, but here. If you're gonna shoot tannerite, make sure you're a safe distance away. If you're gonna pack a riding lawnmower full of tannerite, and NOT remove the blades from it first - then make sure you're a good shot. You don't wanna be too close to that thing when you blow it. Enough prep - this is ugly. Not much aftermath, beyond words, but you can see the Life Juice on his buddy's (the guy filming) pants... Epic Idiot here.

You're thinking like I am. I like. This is why we Don't Complicate Shiit With Complicated Shiit. I'd need to handle one of these things, and fold it, unfold it - try it out. How does it fold smoothly, with that extension on the front of the actual buffer? Questions like that have me curious enough to want to buy one - or see a video on it already...

Read the whole thread, man...

Smart, when you consider the price of a stripped lower, plus the price of a LAW Tactical Gen 3 folding adapter - this is WAY cheaper like this. At $299, it looks like sticker-shock, but the LAW Gen 3 retails tor $270... HOWEVER - looks like you're stuck with their buffer, and their buffer only... Hope the weight is right for what you need, or you'll need to rip it apart and add some tungsten weights to it....

A game trail camera, set for motion. That way, you don't have a vid cam running all the time, when you don't need it running all the time. Set up a game cam where the shiit-master is performing duties, and just review the pics when you get home...

That link that Mack has in his post is one of the latest Owner's Manuals produced - grab it while it's there. Who knows how long that place will host it.

Right now. On BA's website. You can click it through the board here, and find it (which credits the board here), or just click the link here. I encourage you to click the link, check it out - then come back here through the board, and click the Ballistic Advantage banner ad at the top, if you intend to purchase one. @shooterrex, let Dave know. This is the barrel on my gun, that he shot... https://www.ballisticadvantage.com/18-6mm-arcl-spr-rifle-length-ar-15-barrel-premium-series-1.html

They also get pricked alot, too.

Didn't bother me two weeks ago, out in the dirt, when we got a friend's Big AR recoil system straight - only to find out that his gas port needed a little attention. We had a 0.093" drill bit, and a battery powered drill. Couple guys were like "I don't want to do that out here, you know, not right now..." Gimme that drill, get out of the way. Drop the tailgate on your truck, and turn that light on. I got this.... Gun ran like a champ after that, too. 20" rifle gas system. Needed 0.093" gas port anyway.

Recent info on this charade... https://gatdaily.com/braces-banned-overnight/ “Braces” Banned Overnight?! By Keith Finch - November 25, 2020 No. The article, originally posted on Ammoland, has been updated to reflect more accurate information. But the original article and screenshot stating the ATF is after “23” brace models that don’t have an ATF determination letter for the specific SKU are already making the rounds. What is actually happening? Nobody knows, especially the ATF. This headline was triggered after a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) release was published related to the ongoing battle between the ATF vs. Q and SB Tactical over what the Honey Badger ‘pistol’ and possibly the Sugar Weasel and Fix pistols hit the interent. In it, the ATF has stated that only the SB15 and MPX PSB braces from SB Tactical have actual determination letters from ATF. ATF FTISB, Firearms Technology Industry Services Branch, the ATF subdivision where the industry interacts with it, also known as FATD, Firearms and Technology Division, sent a letter to SB Tactical back in 2018 saying that all other SB Tactical braces did not have official determination. The ATF wasn’t banning braces, they were responding to claims of false advertisement that models other than the SB15 and MPX PSB had “ATF Compliant” or other language used in their advertising. Now, the ATF’s approval process is slow, subjective, and limited to a specific item. They will also be very vague on issuing corrections (See Q) which amounts to telling anyone submitting anything to ‘change it a little and try again’. SB Tactical has two determination letters for two specific products. The rest of their products are logical derivatives of those first two products. But the ATF, for full “compliance” would need every variation submitted to them for approval. All changes or updates to the design would also need separate approval with little or no guidance on whether SB Tactical could upgrade materials, make small changes to dimensions, or even change some of the supporting hardware of an individual brace SKU. So.. will they be banned? Unknown. That seems to be the direction ATF are leaning, opening the full legal battle for all braces. But is has not been changed at this time.

Here's the update, to what they've been trying to keep up with... Bottom line - you cannot blame it on the ammo manufacturers, not even a little. Blame it on all the fukheads that are killing the paper towel and toilet paper business now - except, those same exact shitheads found out that they never had a gun, and needed a gun. And bought all the guns and ammo that they could find... just like the TP and paper towels they grabbed up... https://gatdaily.com/when-is-ammo-coming-back/ ^^^ read that one, too. Spells it all out.

They did, if you were watching. Way back in April. https://gatdaily.com/ammo-makers-strive-to-keep-up-production-respond-to-demand/ Ammo Makers Strive to Keep up Production, Respond to Demand By Guns.com April 2, 2020 Along with a dramatic increase in firearm sales seen coast-to-coast, a run on ammunition has ammo makers cranking up to meet demand. The climb in ammo sales started slowly this month then spiked in the past week, with Google noting a 1350% jump in internet searches between March 11 and March 17 alone. This came as the mainstream media covered long lines at local gun shops of anxious consumers stocking up on the valuable commodity as part of their coronavirus prepping larder. With supplies of cartridges running short in most popular calibers both online and in the store, ammo makers have responded to make it clear they are still very much in operation The linked article spells it all out - what they were already doing...

Hell yeah, man - 1919...

Don't get me wrong - I'd LOVE to get a hog like that with the M-2!!! We'd go pick it up with tweezers, q-tips and zip-lock bags...
-
Well, at least it's a headshot. I don't think that the T-Zone shooting works on hogs, because of how damn thick the top of their head is. Good knowing now where that first one went, though, and what happened. You keep running into big fuckers like that, and you just need to hunt with the M-2HB.

She ended up with the cholla that she was after...

He made his one post on Nov 16th, same day he joined, and hasn't been back since...

That's just my Ghillie Suit, brother...

Hey, She was limping when we got there...

She loves the brake on that gun...

1200 lbs of energy, or pretty close to that - pretty scary that it takes more than that to get through the hide and fat cap on that big bastard. Time for the 45-70, brother...

You open the block all the way up to whatever the manufacturer states is the max open position. Keep in mind, you're never, ever going to pass more gas the further you open it up - than your gas port in the barrel will allow. Look at it this way - if you start fully closed, and open incrementally, how will you ever find out if your gas port in the barrel is big enough in the first place?... If your gas port is too small to start with, you'll waste a big handful of ammo, and still not know that the gas port is too small. You'll just think that the expensive gas block that you bought - doesn't work. If you start with it wide open - and that first single round doesn't lock the bolt back, with max gas? You know right then, with that very first round, that your gas port is too small... That's why you start with them wide open, right from the get-go...
