That's what I was gonna recommend, I have that on my 12.5" Grendel, and it's perfect for that rifle. Light as hell, too, around 9oz. Leupold Mark AR Mod 1 Firedot G with the SPR Reticle. Leupold killed that scope line, so you'll be looking for old stock at places that still have it. This is it:

On my .45AR and the 9mm AR, I have red dots. The .45AR will still whack IPSC steel plates at 200 yards, but it's a 16" barrel. The 9mm is an 8" barrel, and I've never taken it out that far. Seems like I should try...
