That one just doesn't go up and around the mountain, on the other side of the highway. It's still a motherfucker, because it's ALL the sand washes. First one I did was Military Heavy "Team". #2 was Military Light Individual, and #3 was after I retired, so I did Civilian Light Individual. That first one was a motherfucker, because you had to have a 40lb pack without water weight, and 8 people. They weighed you at the beginning and the end. 320 lbs had to be weighed out after you crossed the finish line, with the 8 people. As people on the team started running out of steam, We'd cross load ruck weight, make it lighter for the people that were hurting, get them through. I think my final ruck was fucking 66lbs or something stupid like that. Last sand wash is about 4 miles-ish long, and it fucking SUCKED. We made it, though.

AK-47-"type" was identified as the firearm. Of course "assault rifle" was used as well. In Gilroy, California. Things are gonna get ugly, with another debate coming in the next two days, the rhetoric is gonna ratchet up, and the details of this effed up situation are gonna get smothered - unless it's gun details that the Dem Debate members can use. There's gonna be alot of made-up information spewed in the next two nights, on stage...

That's not an accurate statement, these days. Sure, that's how it all started, but it's just not true. Most of the members now are not veterans, if you tally up all those organizations. -
Small framed and need to start concealed carrying.

^^^ That's like @Robocop1051, and his daily combination carry... I'm not kidding when I tell you that it takes him 2 solid minutes to take off the 17 concealed guns and spare mags he's carrying... -
Oh, he did it. His BCG was so grimy, I picked it up and it stuck in my hand...

Here SS, lemme tell you a story about .260 Rem and 6.5 Creedmoor. I have a 20" AR in .260 Rem. A great buddy has a Ruger Precision Rifle, bolt action, 26" barrel, in 6.5 Creedmoor. We set up targets at 1000 and 1100 yards. I check my dope chart info, I shoot first, and get on target. He says, "Hey, what did you dial for the 1000?" I tell him, he dials, he shoots - and he's pretty damn close to the target. Makes his minor corrections, and he's all over it. Next, he says, "What did you dial for the 1100?" I tell him, he dials a little - and gets pretty damn close to the target, makes minor corrections, connects with the target. So, if "There ARE big differences in the two cartridges" as stated, then how is the same projectile (147 ELD-M) in those two different cartridges... able to almost use the same dope to hit at 1000 and 1100?...
-
No, there really aren't big differences between the two. There's no way you missed that beautiful chart he made - those aren't big differences. You must have missed this article I linked, as well. Here' the article again - not only read it, but make sure you look at the contained vid links in it, as well: http://americanshootingjournal.com/260-remington-vs-6-5-creedmoor/ Just because I don't have a Creedoor, myself, you must mistakenly think that I've never been around one. I have PLENTY of friends with them, and I've shot their guns. They do not chew up ammo, just chambering it, and THEY have no issues hitting the 850 yar targets, either. Explain that, SS, since you're the new champion of the cause in this one...

So, you're bribing people to join me... I like it...

As a gun shop owner, I'd never clean a gun for a customer, ever. Fuk that. You run the gun, YOU better figure out how to keep your shiit running, by cleaning it yourself. You want it worked on? Better bring me that fucker clean. If it takes a good "gun cleaning" to make your gun "run right" again - you're gonna pay for that, dearly... Where I'm at now, if someone brings me a shiit-ass dirty, muddy fucking vehicle to work on, I tell them straight up that they can take it to a car wash and clean it, or I'm not working on it. OR, I will charge them $50 to pressure wash it before I begin working on it. Your call. I'm not working on that fucking muddy, nasty thing, in the condition it's in right now. Go clean it first, or you're paying me to clean it. One of those two thing will happen, or I'm not putting my wrenches to it...

What's the smallest part you started a build with?

You can't even trust THOSE ones, sometimes, man - don't bank on that "one that likes the guns," being a good one. I'm a two-striker on that setup. Lost 3 guns to the last 2, just because "they liked guns..." Don't put your money there, brother - if they like guns, they'll REALLY like YOUR GUNS... Ask me how I know... -
I have that kit for my Dremels, and port cylinder heads with it, at home, on a bench - but it doesn't help me a bit when I have to climb into, around, and contort myself to - whatever vehicle I'm working on/in. Cordless/battery - and zero cords attached to my tools - gives me more freedom that you can even imagine, in those situations, and my work environment... That's my $0.02 and why...
-
No money needed - send your testosterone. Samples are fine, as long as you can guarantee they'll help, and they're pure. This is nothing more than a gen-u-wine nut-up event. It's a motherfucker. It sucks to start it, but it sucks more to finish it - and once you finish it, you never want to do anything like it again. And this will be my 4th one... Says something, right?... My Grandpa always said, if you're gonna be dumb, you better be tough... I did three of these fuckers at the end of my military career. Last one was after I retired, I think that bastard was in 2009 or 2010. Been too long, so I'm going back and doing it again. It's a hoot. I'm no spring chicken, brother - I retired from the Army in 2007, with 21.5 years. That math works out to make me an older fucker. If you stop moving, your parts rust, and you get stuck in place. I'm extraordinarily lucky to be handicapped by my own natural immaturity - I still think I'm 17... and act like it most of the time...
-
I'm going. Anybody that wants to join in, hit the link for details, make your plans, and meet me there. Last time I did this bastard was 2009. It's an ass whoopin' you can't likely put upon youself, without calling in buddies to kick your own ass...

It starts at 2200 feet AGL, and goes through 7000 feet of elevation change through the course. Two major sand washes, miles long, beginning and end. It ain't easy, by no stretch of the imagination. But it's pretty fucking satisfying to complete it. It fucking SUCKS. I just wish it would suck MORE...

I've been through three of them, while a member of this board, brother. Sweat it not. I've got your back. Only lost four guns in total, through them all, too. Bitches... -
Walk with me, bitches...

Candy-asses beware. Telling you now. Anyone wanna do the 2020 Bataan Memorial Death March with me? I'm going. Haven't done it for a few years now, but I've done three of them. I'm going in March 2020. The date is 15 March 2020 for the next one. Details will emerge, but here's the basics: https://bataanmarch.com/ Let's plan the Spring Shoot around this - total asskicking week-ish, overall. I'm going. Man up, fuckers.

I didn't - I was afraid it was a holster of your junk, hanging out on the left side again... I'll revisit that...
