  1. Yes, 20" WC barrel, Armalite rifle gas length, shooting 147gr Hornady ELD-M projos with RL-22 powder and CCI 200 primers through Hornady 308 Match brass, resized down to .260 and necks turned down. It's around 0.5 MOA, consistently. Fucking laser beam. It's the most ridiculous distance gun I own, even over the 300 Win Mag bolt gun.
  2. 4350 was a powder that almost disappeared before the 6.5C came about, and got super-popular several years ago, but it was used by seasoned .260 Rem shooters for 20 years (that's how long the .260 Rem has been around). RL-17 is a new powder, that was specifically developed for these 6.5mm cartridges. It's supposed to be the absolute SHEEEIIIIT for them.
  3. Hugs and kisses. Sweet dreams, brother. ?
  4. ToolCraft makes the Aero BCGs. I kid you not. Not even a little. Truth.
  5. It's NEVER safe, brother. Something is always waiting to get you. At any rate, it's 58 here. Come on down, in your shorts and t-shirt... I'm not seeing much from this Super Blood Moon yet. It's pretty disappointing here, and I'm waiting up for it.
  6. Both those powders are gonna be excellent for that 6.5C.
  7. ...^^^^ this. And, the ASAP Plate was made for the AR15-sized lower receiver. If that's your end-goal, you need something like this -click it... https://dsgarms.com/dsg-4201-0029
  8. I'm just sitting here waiting for this shiit to get serious...
  9. MagPul doesn't make anything like that, man, in your pic. So it wasn't a MagPul part, for sure. With that pic you posted, I don't see any loops on it, either, from that steel body. MagPul DOES make an ASAP Plate, though - it's this: That is definitely NOT what you have, though... not from that pic you posted...
  10. It's done, folks. DONE. Pete and I decided. The barrel length on the group buy needs to be 16" barrels, and anything else is just crazy.
  11. I'll wonder outside - it's earlier for me right now. Super Blood Moon and all... EDIT - I have a piece of it right now, but not much else, over here in the AZ sky. When I hear about a Blood Moon - I wanna see Blood dripping off the damn Moon... anything else is hype, and a rip-off. Once we have Blood dripping off the Moon, during a Blood Moon, I'm locking and loading everything I own. Y'all are welcome to get here as quick as you can, too. I need people to man the perimeter, and run the Range Cards. Just do what the Range Card in front of you says, and we're good. Here's what I've got:
  12. 16", from this beast. I see no reason to go more, for the purpose of the round, and no reason to get into NFA shiit by going less. With this much power coming out of it, for the purpose of breaking animals with a quickness, we won't need more than 16" barrels. Thoughts?... Am I crazy in that ASS-umption of mine?... I wanna SMASH a coyote with one of these things. Into pieces...
  13. Chainsaw, can we please re-visit this question I asked of you, with an answer now?...
  14. Chainsaw got hosed by his vendor.
  15. Completely, between AR15s and .308ARs. 100% the exact same part, with zero differences between them, across those two platforms. Zero differences.
  16. I'd love to hear the back-story on this SR-71 deal, right here...
  17. Reason I asked - you got fucked. Here's what the MagPul QD End Plate looks like: What you're showing certainly doesn't look like that... I'm just sayin'...
  18. Where did you buy this part from?
  19. Sad. Well, not really. Excellent work, homeowner. You did it well.
  20. This is what we run in to here. Hate to say it, but you get what you pay for. I'm not "snobbing" anything, I ain't about that. However, you build a gun with quality parts, and it runs. Pick the parts yourself, and do it wisely You buy a budget gun, and you better be prepared to work on it to get it to do what you thought that Knight's SR25 was gonna do (Yes, I know the difference between the Remington R25 that you referenced, and the KAC SR25, and I'm using the SR25 as the dollar/quality reference on my own) . That PSA dollar comes from somewhere, and you got it cheap for a reason. Compromise was made somewhere. At least you are here, right now, painterman, figuring out your gun. For the most part, the budget price of the PSA attracts the "budget people" that think everything had a lifetime warranty, and it should run out of the box just like an SR25 - and that's just not the case. I hate - HATE - arguing with those "budget people" over this shiit. PSA doesn't care, either - they already made their money...
  21. Not new, you can't. It's up there.
  22. At 37:23 in that video I linked above, Brian Shul talks about his book he made. Sled Driver. If you ever find this book, prepare to pay. Last I looked, it was over $700... !!!... !!!...
  23. Crazy how big they look in pictures - and how small they are in reality... It's amazing that the front of that thing is just over 6 feet off the ground. It looks, in pics, like it would be 20 feet off the ground... Unreal aircraft. Part of my fascination with them is my work with the predecessor, the U2. I worked with those things in the early 90s, when they were still flying.
  24. This plane - and this specific pilot, MAJ Shul - hobby of mine for a long time. Amazing. Here's a good one.
  25. He's a historic legend. Here's an infamous story from him - this is him speaking...
